was added a few days ago.

the only other places you can watch this are on Disney+ (not a good service for $15.99/mo, imo) or Buy for $19.99 from Apple TV (not available for Rent, recently I'm noticing this trend a lot with Disney movies).

I've watched two of these genius detective solves crime movies by Kenneth Branagh (who also acts as the detective) they were easy to watch. but tbh I can't remember if I watched this one or not.

Detective solving Crime Genre.

Celebrated sleuth Hercule Poirot, now retired and living in self-imposed exile in Venice, reluctantly attends a Halloween séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.

Is there anymore coming out? Love these movies

Well mon ami then it is imperative that you try the works of the one and only, David Suchet.

This bloke accent, character and mannerism are spot on!

+1 to that. As entertaining as Kenneth Branagh can be his Poirot is a pale imitation next to David Suchet (who, BTW, is a brilliant actor in many other roles as well.)

    • Thanks!

    This one was awful

I agree!! I was so looking forward to it, loved the others - but was so extremely disappointed
      Such a shame

    • To each his own.

yeah it was ok like the others.

I was probably half asleep when I saw this which is why I don't fully remember it, but I thought it was just like the others, except with a bit of creepiness and scares added in.

  • I think this movie is sinking.

    • What are you…sinking about?

  • Too bad this didn't have all the recurring cast from the first two.

Does SBS on demand still have the quality of a 2008 YouTube video recorded on a Motorola Razr? I personally find on demand completely unwatchable.

    • This isn't on SBS. It's on Prime.

But yes, SBS On Demand streaming is still terrible. The quality is far worse than broadcast quality, their apps are buggy, and I have constant issues with English-language captions either not appearing or disappearing/desynchronising randomly.

I can put up with the quality and bugs if it's the only option… but the captioning issues are a deal-breaker. So I only use SBS On Demand for foreign-language media.

I do like SBS content, though, so I've actually dug out my DVR and record shows instead. The quality is far better than SBS On Demand, the English-language captions actually work, and it has the bonus of supporting ad-skipping.

      • My bad, I read SUBS as SBS

I feel like it was already out on another platform for a good while. I watched it either on Disney or Netflix

    • yeah I watched it awhile ago. as title says it's a 2023 movie.

I posted it because it's only available on Disney+ ($15.99 for ad tier) and $19.99 to Buy only (no Rent option) on Apple TV.

Prime is cheaper than both of those and has way better library imo and a month of Free delivery no minimum spend.
