Supercheap Club Card Changes - Spend & Get Ongoing but No More BPC

Just got this email. A shame about BPC.

From 1 July 2025, we’re introducing ‘Spend & Get’ as a new Club benefit - a simple way to give you more value. The more you shop, the more credit you earn!

Introducing ‘Spend & Get’ as a new and ongoing benefit

Rewarding you for your loyalty is important to us. We think that the more you spend, the more you should get. So, from 1 July 2025, for every $100 you spend, you’ll get $5 credit applied to your account within 24 hours of you reaching the $100 spend! The credit will be available for you to use over the next 28 days. It’s simple. It’s automatic. It’s super.

Spend & Get can be accrued over multiple eligible purchases made in-store and online each calendar year. To learn more about how Spend & Get works, visit: www.supercheapauto.com.au/spend-and-get

Retiring Best Price Credit

As a result of these changes, Best Price Credit (BPC) will be retired as a Club benefit. BPC will continue on eligible purchases made in-store and online until 30 June 2025. For example, if you make a purchase before or on 30 June 2025 and the product goes on sale within 14 days, we’ll still credit you with the difference for you to use within 28 days.

Any BPC credit you previously received will continue to be available until it is either used or has reached its 28-day expiry – whichever comes first.

As a loyal Club member, you will continue to receive the following benefits:

• Club pricing on a wide range of products
• Discounted diagnostic scans and fitments across a variety of in-store services
• Receipt-free warranty peace of mind with proof of purchase saved on your account
• Bonus credit offers and access to Club only promotions
• Plus beginning 1 July 2025, Spend & Get – earn $5 credit for every $100 spent

Thanks for being a Super Supercheap Auto Club member.

I've kinda stopped using my Club Card since I have a trade account which offers better pricing when I need something and there is RRP. Special prices apply to both club and trade.

I don't spend enough for the Spend & Get Promo to be of any value, especially with 28 day expiry.

More and more memberships/club programs are losing benefits becoming not really worth it.

I was about to post this same topic.
    Sounds like enshitification is spreading.

Yep, also came here cause I just got the email.

Pretty shit change, the first half made it sound like it was going to be in addition to BPC.

I dont tend to shop at SCA anyone unless necessary, as I've moved to an area where there's a Repco and Autobarn both close by, plus TradeTools, Total Tools and Bunnings as well, there's usually somewhere that'll be cheaper and/or better quality depending on what I'm buying.

So much quicker with Perez out retiring.

I'm just angry because I haven't received the email yet.

  • I don't see why BPC is being retired as a consequence…

One way to go would be to maintain BPC or reduce the offering to exclude BPC after 1 July.

Typically, no member consultation on this. :+(

So they are putting prices up 5% to counter the discount, plus another x% for admin, to cover the process. Nice one SCA. Just shop where what you want stacks up.This is the way. All these clever marketing scams will cost businesses in the end. That's good news for the last few standing, not for consumers.

    Newsflash…

In late breaking news SupercheapAuto will rebadge as "Auto"

(Turns out, they are no longer either "Super" or "Cheap") :+(

    • Now theyve got a large market share, they can dictate prices. Lets hope the competitors stay competetive, unlike bunnings virtual monopoly

Repco should pull their fingers out. Too expensive, too often. They need to behave like a player.

        • I think other places are competetive on car spares and better at it. SCA is better at accesories due to bulk purchasing power and home brand items.

Eg i generally go to SCA for cleaning, oils etc but will go straight to others for replacement parts. I have a place very close to home that supplies the majority of local mechnics and so have lots of spares in stock and a good understanding of what you mean when you ask for engine parts etc.
