Any actual bargains? Seems more like just a free ad for used clothes. Not really what Ozbargain is meant for.

I truly love a circular economy and a good thrift find but the men’s section is pretty rough. Aside from three or four pieces, it looked like someone donated their entire 2008 wardrobe in one go. Not sure if that era’s making a comeback anytime soon. Giving me PTSD

i can buy new clothes for less

  • This is like when a company advertises that their product "uses 100% recycled materials!" as a selling point. Wait, I'm paying you more for this privilege of using non-virgin materials? And you want to emphasize it as a key selling point, too? Huh.

    • Yeah some people care about reuse. I like when things are recycled. Even better I like when things can be recycled again!

      • Go to an op shop. You get all those same warm fuzzies PLUS a bonus warm fuzzy knowing the money is going to some charitable purpose.

  • No deal.
    Underwhelming.
    Overpriced.

Just had a look at the men's category… good grief the stock looks terrible and the prices are absurd.
They have well worn t-shirts for $45. Expensive rags.
    Get real.
Far better condition t-shirts at local op shops would be under $10.

Do the people running this business just pick over op shops and just re-sell online for 4 or 5 times the price? Interesting business model for sure, but if that is how you source your stock you are actually harming people who op shops are there to serve. Yes op shops are raising money for other charity - part of that charity is directly serving underprivileged vulnerable people in the community who actually rely on op shops to afford clothing.

  • I am not surprised, similar tactic destroyed second hand markets like gumtree/facebook - people supposed to sell to each other, but now this sort of resellers snatch good deals from people and then sell to others with higher price
