I bought mine off JB HIFI Business for $348, but you can also get them off DJI.com as well

Currently, they're going for $529 @ digiDirect. They're a bargain at this price tbh.

For those umming and erring you can get them refurbished for $309 @ DJI's official website - here

Or the DJI Mic 2 (1 TX + 1 RX) without the case for $207 here

DJI Mic Mini is also on special for $219 on JB HIFI Business from memory?

Sorry for the DJI bargain flood

      For karaoke?

Just ordered this a couple of days ago, I think this is the lowest price that it has ever been.

If you are using a Sony camera, I would also highly recommend the DJI Mic 2 adapter, that uses the MI (multi interface) shoe so you don't need a 3.5mm audio cable, it also lets you record in 24bit. One thing to be aware of though, is if you have a cage on your camera, you need room in front of the MI shoe, otherwise the adapter might not slide in all the way and wont make contact with the pins.

    • Good tips, thank you

But also check the compatibility list, the adapter only works with certain Sony cameras as well.

  • Good price on the mini, I just bought one from Amazon with $7 off thanks to that temu-esque spin the wheel game ; this ends up cheaper.

  • Same price now at jbhifi

DJI Mic Mini is considerably cheaper, and is better in some ways (smaller, lighter, cheaper). Do your research and make sure that they are not a better option for you before you fork out for the DJI Mic 2 .

DJI have also released a hot shoe adapter for the DJI Mic Mini too, so for those wanting one, it is now an option.

      • Didn't know this as most older YT review videos all mention lack of adapter for the Mic Mini set

  • Is it better than Rode?

    • there are some good comparison videos on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5I6aTaioFs

Rode is better in audio quality

IMO yes, but I'm comparing it to the Wireless Go II, I also the lav mic. I just didn't like the audio the came straight out of the mics, I found it very flat and unusable without some EQ. However a lot of reviews say the Rode give out better sound quality, I just don't see it (or hear it). I also use a rode video mic NTG and video mic go II, so not bias to one brand over the other.

      Main things
      - you get a charging case from DJI versus a pouch for the Rode. Not only is it nicer, it's easier to charge everything all at once rather than 3 seperate usb cables.
      - active noise cancellation which works really well
      - 32bit float internal recording

      Smaller things
      - you get clip magnets in the box, $30 from Rode for 1 magclip set
      - DJI RX (receiver) has a better interface/screen than the Rode for changing settings
      - The size of the TX (transmitters) are smaller than Rode

I don't have the wireless go pro, but that might be a better comparison but it's also $700 rrp. You get a case, and 32bit float.

      • I agree, Rode mics are better (slightly). DJI Mic 2s all come with "Low Cut" turned on so they sound really muffled and flat.
