whats the catch with fanatical? how do they have steam keys for cheap?
      are they grey/dodgy keys?

I know that I should hand in my OzB license after saying this… but for $2 difference? Thanks, I'll take 100% legit.

          Fanatical is 100% legit…

          • @CrispyChrispy: Had no issues when I got the Oddworld collection on the cheap(only needed the Abes Exodus remake but still ponied up for the rest) through them.

From memory I think they also had the LSL collection cheap at one stage as well.

They are 100% legit - think of HumbleBundle. I believe they are UK based.

You will find most Steam games can be bought these days for cheaper outside of the actual Steam store - either from Humble Bundle, Fanatical, GreenmanGaming, etc.

The catch is no refunds. If you buy it on steam you have a 2 hour refund window. Usually I’d rather pay a bit extra and have that assurance.

It's currently $12 on the Kazakhstani Steam store.

Region-locked games are able to be purchased while it's more difficult than before, it's definitely not impossible.

      • Very nice! Chenquieh.

  • One of the first games I downloaded on ps5, purchased it on Xbox not long after it came available on that system.

Might also grab it on pc. Its a nifty game and I'd play a sequel if it ever happened.

$21.36 AUD off Gamersgate (an official store) with code GGD

    $21.36 wouldn't even be a historical low

For future reference, buying through Steam directly is almost never the cheapest way to buy games

Even if you want to avoid grey keyshops/marketplaces like Gamivo and Eneba which inherently carry more risk (though I've had zero issues with them over the years), there's still all the authorised/official stores like GMG and Gamebillet which will also typically have better pricing than Steam themselves

I use gg.deals to find the best prices on games; it is the most comprehensive price comp site I have come across yet.

Going by Steam reviews average gameplay is around 10-15 hours

    • +1

15 is a real stretch. Normally I take a lot longer to play games than the average but I was a lot closer to 10 than 15.

    • HLTB says about six hours, or ten hours to do everything. Pretty short, even Cats is two hours long.

I'm a dog person and even I have to admit this is a good game.

      You can change….

  • Super fun and generally relaxing game

    • should have guns and shiii

      • i mean the graphics are nice and all, but looks like it could get pretty boring very quickly even with the stupid claptrap robot things

  • only a short game but it's an incredible little game. very interesting with a lot of heart

Short but sweet, well made fun game. Just not sure if this is a bargain… Maybe just an ok price for this good title. If you are on PC, I recommend playing with a controller if you have one.

  • very short game, played recently on pc surprised its like an 8gb game but definitely not paying $27 for it lol
