I do know that when I went from sata 0.5gbps SSD to gen4pcie ~7gbps SSD I drop into my hell let loose maps about 4 seconds earlier.

But yeah it is a little flimsy. Having said that it's not entirely function critical. It's just a dust guard for the USB port.

And 20 years ago you could get a flagship GPU for $600. But you would still be running 690p medium/high settings
