Feedback on this robo vac? theres so many im confused
bought it, its great. Make sure you clean the waste water tank regularly
Funny you should mention that. Mine without fail everytime it returns to the station when mopping, comes up with the error 'Please clean the dirty water sink'. I have to remove it, wash it out, reinstall it and then it continues until the next time it returns and then the same error. Pretty annoying and has been doing it since new.
I finally started a support ticket for it the other day but they want me to send videos, receipts etc. Not unusual for support but saw they sell a filter kit for the dirty water reservoir so will try that instead.
Other than that its a beast of a cleaner, i do wish it was better at vacuuming edges but thats about it.
I've never had that error with mine.
Could be a clog in the robot's dirty reservoir? Suggest you pull apart all the pieces, including the filters, of the dirty water reservoir and brush/hose them down.
Also, check if there are any clogs in the inlet/outlets that connect the robot to the dirty water reservoir.
My S1Pro runs every weekday. Weekends are off for cleaning of robot and drying its parts.
@Caring: Yeh i figured its not right. I do give the reservoir a clean each time (remove the filters, wash out etc). I havent gone to the effort of poking things in holes to see if there is a clog but always once i empty it and clean it out it will then allow the mop cleaning to continue. It can then go out and i immediately return it to station and as it goes through the mop cleaning again the same issue pops up. It started doing it pretty much a month into ownership.
Does to report any error codes, like EB1J?
If you get that, it means the dirty water tank seal is not tight.
This guy has tips on how to fix it. Basically he applied Vaseline around the edges of the dirty water tank and applied electrical tape on the two in/out holes so the seal is tighter.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIQsE1JY_-k@noshopping: Yep, it's 'EB14 please clean robot water sink filter' when I pull it apart the filter isn't that dirty and usually all I do is wash it out and then it will continue the mop washing. But once that's done and it leaves the station, when it returns and goes through the same process the same error always occurs, regardless of how long it actually left the station for (can get it to return immediately and the same thing happens)
This or the qrevo edge c for wooden floors?
For moping, self cleaning roller mops are always better than Revo ones which only gets cleaned at the base station
Other companies like Narwal have/will be coming out with same roller mop but which extend towards the edge. If you wanna look at those as well! I would have bought this 6 months back but now am holding back for the edge ones.
Good to know. Got any links?
It seems people in this thread have previously negotiated to get it for $1423 from TGG: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/886378
Current runtime of my Eufy S1 Pro is 47 hours, 2,145m2. So good!
I didnt know they tracked this stat … only just looked at mine … 12,135m2 …
The Roborock S7 Max Ultra works with the 10% code bringing it to $895 + delivery wonder if that's worthwhile or if spending and extra ~600 for this is better
Did anyone get the Perks offer and would send me the code? My partner and I are both members but haven't received the coupon?
Ah got one from the requests page (linked in Original Perks deal post linked in above, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/907574)
Had one of these since the beta currently at 295 hours & 14647m2.
It’s a great unit, it does require a bit of maintenance along the way to cleaning the filters.
To save on buying the floor liquid, once you’ve run out of you guy a low foaming floor cleaner you can use a syringe to put it in the bottle. Save some $The water filters also need replacing for me after around 6 months, it’s worth getting some spare to keep on hand.
Where’s the best place to get spares?
Do you have to have been a perks member at a certain point in the past for that price to kick in? I just signed back up to perks and see the higher/normal price.
No. You should receive a voucher in your email
Ordered 4 of these, one for each room.
