Any recommendations for 2 players games I can play with my 11 year old son? We just finished playing it takes two which we enjoyed, so now we are looking for our next game to play together.

      Split fiction?

Is 11 too old for the Lego games? Lego Star Wars is a hoot with my 9 year old. At some stage also the co op pass around modes in the until Dawn style horror games are really cool, but ymmv on what age is appropriate for that.

Edit: also sackboy adventures is GREAT and fun coop

We tried one of the Lego games on the switch a couple of years ago after it was recommended on here but we just didn't like it. There was too many cut scenes that couldn't be skipped.

        Will check out split fiction.

Sackboy, Unravel Two, Brothers a Tale of Two Sons

Thanks, will check these all out.

      • Brothers is a game for one player, it's never meant to be played in coop.

        • Yes, but despite this, they did add a two player mode.

    • Definately lego games. I started with my daughter at about 4 and now she's 8 she still loves them and great for puzzle solving. Great to play together as the lego games generally have a lot of more mature gags to keep adults entertained and easy to get non gamers to play. Lego City Undercover is like Brooklyn 99 crossed with GTA so a good one to start with. Currently have about 20ish games and they all are a little unique. Nothing like gaming with the fam on a rainy day. :)

      • We've only played Lego City Undercover on the Switch and we really didn't like it, too many cut scenes that were not able to be skipped. Is this the same on the PS and for all other Lego games?

        • Cut scenes usually will make me delete a game if you can't skip them. It really messes with the flow especially if you only have an hour or so to game. I didn't notice them on the lego games as I think it's just a button hold to skip. I'll update next time I play it. Harry Potter is quite good as well as most of the Marvels. Dc Super villains took a bit to get into but a bit of fun. Maybe a marketplace grab of a cheap lego to try. At lest you can always resell.

@barblade: Yeah sorry I think I wasn't clear in my original comment, I was only looking for game recommendations which are on PS+ which there are a lot of the Lego games. We might give the Lego games another chance. I only play at maximum an hour a week so not much time to try out many games.

            • @onetwothreefour: I'm similar. You can just jump in play for an hour or for a day. I played a fair few on demo mode and purchased after. Good luck.

  • Final shape has not gone live yet. Wonder when this will be live for us.

    • They changed the date of destiny 2 - May 30
