Price beat available against Appliance Central. Here's how:

Sorry, you have about one hour left to score this via price beat this with Appliance Central for $4285, then +shipping and still include $400 gift card. Final price for me was $4,344 and the $400 gift card. Much lower than market price.

If you are in the market for a Bravia 9 85", this can be nearly half the price.

  • This or C8K

    • I went C8K and definitely prefer Google TV over the Hisense OS.. The 5,000 nit brightness is perfect for my living room

    • Is the C8K the same as the QM8? If it is, I would probably have preferred the TCL.

Nobody likes Vidaa but I use a Shield Pro so not a problematic use case for me.

C8K is the same as the QM8K (QM8 was the 2024 model).
And unlike the Hisense ones, it looks like the TCL AU models are fundamentally the same as the US/EU/UK models, bar the model numbers…

        • That is false and misleading information.

          https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/qm8-qm851g-qled

The TCL QM851G is currently only available in North America; in Europe, TCL released the similar TCL X955. Typically, similar models from other regions perform differently, so these results aren't valid for it.

          The same applies to Hisense.

          https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/u8qg

In Canada, the TV is known as the Hisense U88QG, and it performs the same. There are similarly named international models, like the U8QAU in Australia, but Hisense models typically perform a bit differently in regions outside of North America, so our results aren't valid for them.

@Maths Debater: Not going to argue with you on Hisense, the Vidaa OS we get is pretty bad. But from all reports, this years TCL AU/EU models seem the same as the US ones, with the exception of the region-specific tuners – on paper, all the other specs+OS seem to be exactly the same. Firmware could differ, but hopefully not drastically different if they do.

  • Anyone here know if the JB perks coupons still work with price matches or have they patched that? It's been a while since I last did it.

Would bring the price down to $3856.50 + delivery
