10000 + 20000mAh Powerbanks

Looking to get 2 powerbanks for my upcoming travels, want something pocketable that is 10000mah and then something 20000mah I can keep as a backup. Happy to spend about $100 on each. I've done some reading here and no real consensus on what is good.

People are recommending this but I'm sceptical of the actual quality of the cells in this, happy to pay a bit extra for something reliable as I've even had ankers that for some reason barely last on my past travels. I'm only charging a pixel 8 pro with this but want to be able to fast charge it and also charge the powerbank itself quickly as well.

Thanks

  • Anker should be your go-to.

  • I have this 20kmAh powerbank from ugreen
    https://www.amazon.com.au/UGREEN-Charging-Portable-Charger-B…

It's serving really well, and I like it's fast charging (takes approx 2-2.5 hrs) to charge itself. And can be used to charge laptop and fast charge mobile at same time.

I have very old 10kmAh MI powerbank (micro-usb charging cable) which is still going strong. So MI powerbanks are in my good books as well.

  • I have 2x (a pair each for myself and my partner) of an Iniu 10000 w/ Magsafe and an Anker 20000 with built-in USB-C. Worked spectacularly on a recent overseas trip and always had power for our devices. Essentially meant we never "needed" extra cables as the Magsafe charged phones and the USB-C kept iPad or Switch going. I continue to use my Magsafe pack on train commutes and partner was using the Anker USB-C on their iPad rather than grabbing the regular charger although after getting a 65W charger I don't think I've seen them do that since.

  • +1

Nitecore 10000 seems to get a good wrap for it lightness

  • I have the one you linked and I'm really happy with it. It powers my laptop with no issues. Recharges very quickly at 65w, too. It occasionally goes on sale for $89.

fyi OP, some customers on ozb have said their 25000mAh looked and felt thicker than it looks in the photos.

I actually commented this before, but seems like they used the same image for 20000mAh mini and 25000mAh mini on amazon.

I went with and recommend the 20000mAh mini. it fits in your hand nicely and is just the size I was expecting.
just realised out of stock rn but should be back.

  • The one OP linked is currently 20% off on the INUI store. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/908109

  • Note that China has banned any powerbank form domestic flights that do not carry the 3C logo, so far there are few on any selling platform I can find that do carry them.
