Going for $99 on amazon. This one’s a no brainer. Excellent powerbank.

    • use your brain, if you don't need it right now, then wait, it will always be cheaper later, don't be a no brainer

      • Yeah, Inui is always cheaper later… For about 10 minutes before the sale expires. Lucky if you can score one, but you can always point to the ATL…

    My favourite powerbank.

      Commander Shepherd?

  • -2

    Can you take on airplane

    • -2

      Yes you can

    • Check with your Airline

Some restrictions have just come in very recently.

Normally ok in overhead locker usually.

Any neggers read the latest info

      • +2

Neggers continuing to add nothing to the conversation… Some airlines are not permitting use or charging of powerbanks in flight.

        • -6

          But that's wasn't what op asked…

          • @wombat81: Look at you guys, complaining about down voters. Hypocritical much? Op literally asked if it could be taken on a plane. It absolutely can. There are a few airlines international airlines who won't let you actually use it on the plane, but you can still take it on. So the answer to OPs question is yes.

        • bloody neggers!

        • -1

          Which airlines?

          • @ClintonL: just put it in your check in luggage if you are scared

            • +1

@9hundred: This is a very dangerous thing to do. Anything with batteries shouldn't ever be checked in.

              • @Haunt: I am sure many people do, rather than risk it being not allowed on board and destroyed.

            • @9hundred: Don't do that. That will cause issues.

    • -1

Yes although be prepared for the number of times your bag needs a special check after screening to increase. Prior to having this maybe 10% but now it is 50%. To be fair they take one look and quickly hand the bag over but just be prepared for the extra time.

The limit, generally, is 100wh. This power bank is 90wh (and it's printed on the power bank) so should be fine with the vast majority of airlines. As someone else said, there are a few international airlines who don't like you actually using a power bank on their planes, but you can still have it.

  • Don't know if this is a stupid question but can you take it on an international flight?

    • +7

The question isnt stupid but if you go through the comments just above yours you'll know who is…..

    • +1

Short answer, maybe. 100Wh is the usual limit which equates to 27000mAh at 3.7V. You may be allowed to get bigger capacities but need permission from each airline you'll travel on.

Some airlines are now restricting the use in flight. Also, must be carry on not checked.

    • +2

check your individual airline and their rules.

      lol

  • Great power bank, will charge pretty much any device, can be taken on flights.

  • How long does it take to charge the power bank when connected to 45w charge?
I've got Cygnet 20mAh and it takes 4-5 hours

    • I haven't tested a full charge as I've only used mine a few times, but i feel like it would be significantly less than 4 hours. More like 2.5 hours, at a guess, based on the partial charges I've done?

  • Does this support passthrough charging?

    • Their older 100w model did, so most probably yes

      • Does passthrough charging kill the battery?

  • +2

Payment processor is in HKG. Remember to use your international txn fee free card!

    • mmm…
      Says 80 on invoice
      and 80 on PayPal

      Let's hope it stays 🙏

          Aramex. Good luck

          • @SirFrankGrimes: Actually they are fantastic where I live.

Driver super friendly, tracking is a bit dodgy but turns up faster than any courier except Startrack ( who hardly anyone uses these days)

            ( Regional NSW)

            • @snappy1234: You’re one of the lucky ones. I’m in Metro Sydney and I’ve never experienced such pain and frustration than with Aramex couriers

              • @SirFrankGrimes: Strangely Toll is terrible (ipec)
Even when I say leave with reception/office.

They used to be excellent in Northern side of Sydney when I was working there.
