There also a $10 off/$50 spend @Target deal in my app

For target offer, showing offer not valid on purchases of gift cards.

Anyone knows if it is ok on purchases of gift cards in store? thanks,

      • +2

The answer is yes! Commbank only checks on the name of the store, not what you buy

Bought a Coles Myer gift card at Target a couple of weeks ago with this offer, and it worked.

Got it but dunno what to buy at CW. It’s overpriced lol

    • +1

strongly disagree, great prices normally and they also price match at the checkout

      • For me personally, a lot of items are cheaper elsewhere.

E.g Buying from CW for Telfast $40/ 100 tablets vs buying from Ozbargain vendor for Hayfexo $20 per 100 tablets. That’s $20 (50%) savings.

Buying my fav NeilMed sachets is also cheaper at another chemist while on sale ($18.99) than at CW ($24.99).

        Hence it’s overpriced for me.

        • They have a stated Price Beat policy, never used it myself, but it exists.

          • @Charlie Dont Surf: I wonder if they pricematch products at another store that offer better discount….

            • @HeyJes: I don't know what you mean. Anyway, it's the standard price-matching policy based on advertised prices elsewhere. They claim to refund you an extra 10% of the difference too.

  • Noticed that yello offers that I've used in previous occasion, the same vendor offer will never come up again……ever.

    • I didn't get this current one, but I've had CWH at least three times and all used.

      • Great for prescription medicines.

Hmm, not in my case. I get Chemist Warehouse and Coles offers and use them all the time

    • I’ve used Coles offers three times.

    • Special gift cards I've use a few times. Haven't had a CW one for long time though (didn't get this one either, can't remember if have claimed in the past, doesn't show in my Claimed section but dont know how far that goes back), this one better value than the Latitude one I got recently, $10 back on $75.

  • thank you

  • Just purchased some LRP products at CW yesterday and received this today!

Return for a refund and buy it again mate. That’s what a true dealhunter/ozbagainer would do

      • Used the deal, awaiting cashback!

  • did not receive it. upvote for sharing

Excellent. Always shop at CW so this is very handy.

Consistently better offers than American Express, even though I pay an annual fee for the privilege. Go figure.

  • Thankyou!!

  • Can it include prescriptions ?

    • Yes, anything you purchase at CW. Remember to activate it in your app first, and use the right commbank debit/credit card

  • I didn't receive it either.

  • Re: it being targetted, perhaps it is one of those things that are only offered to those on the "Everyday Plus" tier - which requires 30 eligible purchase completed in the previous month. I've only made 28 transactions in May so far, so I'd better buy a couple of things online in a hurry and hope that they clear in time. Probably not though.
