Yep
Just checked Ampol MarulanNRMA app says the same…
NRMA uses the FuelCheck API = same data source
Thanks b3au
I can imagine all the people queuing down the road for an hour to save $13. FFS.
Had to sell my Westpac funded Porsche
So I will Q 🎃✅️
How could you let go of such a high yield investment 😮
🥲
if you want to donate $13 ro me I'll take it.
Dunno what petrol in Syd has been, nit it hit $1.999 for 91 2 wks ago on the GC. Down ro $1.899 so 50l would be a sizeable $35 saving
See it is 153.9 @ 7eleven @ Carrara today…
Lol like spedlnding half a minute to enter gift card balance of 1 cent
Same folks who will make fun of EV drivers for needing to charge their cars
Can anyone confirm it is real
there are places that do much lower than others, but they are usually pockets, like SW Sydney etc
What the hell? Seeing a bunch of places near me. What's the go? Need someone with feet on the ground to confirm.
This is going to be normal price soon, if not lower. International crude prices are hovering at pre-Covid levels (~ $60/barrel) for around 6 weeks now.

Glad somebody posted this, I was just about to!
We can expect it to slide lower in the short term as well
Oil cartel OPEC+ is meeting today and it is widely expected that they will announce production increase of another 400,000 b/day from July. That could tank the crude oil price another 10%.
Considering growing demand for EV, PHEV and Hybrid vehicles and clean energy transition, oil demand and prices will only go lower in future.
@dealhunter52: I read that are trying to knock Putin
down a peg or three.Oil is a big export for them.
@snappy1234: They are actually going after US shale production. Currently, US is the biggest oil producer in the world, but breakeven cost of oil production ($40 - $60) in US is higher than Middle-east or Russia ($10 - $20).
https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/with-output-hikes-op…
Hopefully, US tightens or introduce more sanctions on Russian Oil & Gas for self-preservation and in the interest of their own Oil & Gas industry. Everyone knows Trump and Putin are buddies, so lets see how this plays out.
@dealhunter52: trump told the saudis to pump more , it’s why prices are down, they know the consequences of not doing as the US tells them to.
@garage sale: Why does US needs Saudi's to increase output when US is the biggest oil producer in the world and Trump wants US to 'Drill Baby Drill'? It's all supply & demand.
Crude prices below $60 means US Shale industry will be suffer and US will become net importer. US shale producers have already stopped drilling new wells because their break-even for new wells is ~ $65/barrel.

best I can see anywhere near me is $149.9, and that is more than 10 minutes drive away. I filled up the other day using fuel lock 7/11 for $150.9 and that was local
$149.9? Lol that might soon be reality in Australia
hahaha, my bad, should have been cents instead of $$
It soon might really be $149 the way things are going :)
Either it's a publicity stunt, or a glitch on the app and the servos are meant to be showing a different price.
the apps get it from the same data source. So an error in the data spreads.
Almost all Metros have reverted back to 150.7. Only one I can see now is Westleigh.
NSW govt app is so so useful. Fuel check is such a great app. Nothing like that in qld ..
NRMA app does Qld prices
Maybe since RACQ Did a deal with NRMA recently. 🤔
petrolspy is a good app in qld
@SquareCereal724
Where do they get the prices from ?it tells you when you tap on it but most if not all are from "QLD Gov Price Fuel Reporting"
Recently traveled to WA on holidays. Drove from Perth > Exmouth > Perth > Esperance > Perth.
They have https://www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au/ but didn't realise how spoiled we are living in NSW.
They don't include all petrol stations and sometimes the prices listed don't match the actual price.
Ended up using Petrol Spy Australia app but that experience is also inferior to NSW Fuel Check.
Good to know that the NSW Government can get some things right.
“sometimes the prices listed don't match the actual price.”
Doubt that, huge fines for retailers.
Fuel watch boundary includes all metro and 80% regional and works really well…
Fair enough. I might be mistaken.
$2.09 in Melbourne right now
Jumped up from about $1.61 to $2.09 , spreading quickly to most stations already.Melbourne , Geelong still lower.
Would this be a coincidence with today's date?!
31.5
Yeah just saw that in the app can anyone confirm?
