$2.50 more than the base game in the other deal, but easily worth it I think.

Reasons to get the Deluxe:

  • All the other DLC too
  • It's not possible to buy the Deluxe DLC separately. If you buy the base game and later decide to upgrade to Deluxe you will have to pay for the base game again.

  • Deluxe will be required for the Skyblivion total conversion mod.

    thanks OP. loved the original oblivion - particularly the skilling system eg. how acrobatics got to 99 and you could jump over houses.
    any word on how the progress on skyblivion is going?

    Anyone actually replay older series from the start? Been playing these series over a decade but rarely go back to previous releases

    I am not sure how accurate it is but ITAD shows this is frequently discounted to $7.50 (and has been as low as $2.99 and was $5.44 earlier this year).

      ITAD is quite accurate, but I don't know how relevant the price history is now that the remaster is out and also the fact that Steam keys for the original have run out at nearly all stores.

      The $2.99 deal at GOG in 2023 has never been repeated. $5.44 at Humble we definitely won't see again as they no longer have keys to sell.

      It wouldn't surprise me if they do the same thing to Oblivion as they did to the original Skyrim. Stop issuing keys to 3rd party sites, stop running sales, hide from search results on Steam, but allow anyone to purchase it at full price if they know the link to the store page. https://store.steampowered.com/app/72850/The_Elder_Scrolls_V…
