24/6/25 - Unmarked expiry as available at $169.99 again by redeeming 15% voucher.

If you recently impulse bought a Lubluelu auto empty station and realised you dont have a vacuum to go with it, the SL60D is down to its sale price of $169.99.
If you prefer white, the SL60D only has 10% off however the SL68 white is also 169.99. Main difference seems to be SL68 only has one side brush but 500Pa higher suction. However they say it's not compatible with the SD85 auto empty station, but is with the D3. (Have since learned that the SL68 may not come with a self-emptying bin, see below)

  • Great price, and clubbed with SB cashback, it gets even better.

  • Where is the voucher code???

    • G6SLQD8V - it shows on the listing as a button to click to redeem for me.

Had one for a couple years.

The contacts in the dustbin have degraded and have been smashed out by the aggressive contact points in the unit, so no mopping function till i get a new dustbin.

Otherwise a good vac. App is a bit of an afterthought.

Be aware you will need to split your wifi so its generating a 2.4 signal which the unit requires. Its a shitty set up procedure but hey, youre not forking out for a $1k robot

    • Most people run a dual band setup (its default) so already have 2.4ghz. Part of this is for device compatiblity but also because most people don't have 3 wifi AP's in their house so 5Ghz doesn't have the penetratation needed.

      • +1

I had to turn off … Mode switching? I cant remember… My IT solutions are all reddit posts.

        • Oh, I think I realise what feature you are talking about now. It automatically routes clients between 2.4G/5Ghz depending on signal.

Its a router feature that can cause issues with some devices.

My bad.. that should say white

          • @bamzero: all good, I grabbed the white
            thanks for the deal

  • @bamzero - Hi OP, I was looking at models SL68 plus vs SL60 plus. Any idea which model is better as both have different auto-empty dustbins SD85 vs D3?Thanks.

    • I couldn't say which is better. The SL60D is more common I think, probably because it gets discounted more often. As I mentioned the main difference I can see is the SL68 has slightly higher suction, but only one side brush. Looks like all their other parts are the same. I'll be using mainly on hard floors, so the dual side brushes seems like a better option for me. If you are mainly on carpets, maybe that extra bit of suction is more worthwhile but hard to say if you'd actually notice much difference.

Unlike the SD85, the D3 says it is compatible with both the SL60D and SL68 so would probably be the better option between those. They are both 2.5L.

      • Thank you

      • Is the other difference between the SD85 and the D3 is that the former has better suction than the D3? Can get the D3 slightly cheaper but is there any real difference between the function of the two?

        • +1

Yeh, they don't really state the suction anywhere apart from a mention on the product images, where the SD85 says 30000Pa and the D3 says 18000Pa so if you take them at their word the SD85 seems better on paper, provided you don't need to use with the SL68. I dont know how much I trust Lubluelu's suction rating claims though, as they seem to vary (ie the SL60D and SL68 I've seen listed from between 2500Pa and 5000Pa)

The D3 also has shallower dimensions by about 70mm which I would have preferred so it doesn't stick out so much when robot is docked.

Unfortunately can't say much else as I haven't compared side by side. Other thing to consider is if the bags are cheaper for one or the other (but double check as a lot of the listings on AliEx look like they are for the 2.5L D3 but are actually the 2.0L ones.)

      • Is there a link to the bin for sl60d

Be cheaper to buy separately, vacuum from Amazon and station from eBay with JUNE20 code. (I'm not convinced that there is any difference in the vacuum between the Pro bundle and the vacuum alone. The SL68Plus bundle claims 1000Pa higher suction than the standalone SL68 too. Guess it's possible, slightly faster fan, not sure of the real world difference if so)

      SL60D + D3 @ $94.99 - $264.98
      SL60D + SD85 @ $111.99 - $281.98

      • damn i didnt know this deal had an expiry

is the combo price obtainable elsewhere? via ebay?

        • Empty stations can still be had at same price on eBay, and they have another listing on Amazon for the SL60D that is $20 more @ $189.99 but pretty much always at that price.

Another option is Temu @ $175 which is shipped direct from Lubluelu AU (and probably has chance of better cashback offers.)

          • @bamzero: looks like its back but 199 now

im confused regarding the docks. is one of these supposed to have a mop function? becuase the docks are dust only

            • @furythree: $199 is pretty much the everyday price.

None of the docks handle anything to do with mopping, they only empty the dust bin of the vacuum.

The mop is part of the vacuum, the vacuum's dustbin also has a water reservoir.

Just FYI, seems you are looking at the SL60D anyway but some people have said their SL68 didn't come with a bin that has the emptying port and had to buy another bin ($20) to use with the emptying station.

              • @bamzero: so just to clarify the sl160d has the mop function the 68 doesnt

the mop function is built into the vacuum, so i assume the reservoir is built in. so i had to change it manually right?

so the only purpose of the dock is the empty the dust, it wont change the wter?

or are you saying you can buy the $20 upgraded dock that can change water too? which dock is that? Is that the SD85?

didnt realise these vacuums can use various kinds of docks. this is new to me

The 199 regular price already seems cheap. but might wait a bit longer then for the deal. annoying i missed it
dont want to buy from temu, prefer amazon/ebay for returns

                cheers

                • @furythree: So the SL60D and the SL68 both have mop function, and yes the water reservoir is part of the dust bin and must be filled manually, the upgraded dock only empties the dust.

The SL60D comes with this bin but the SL68 might come with this bin (I can't confirm how long ago those SL68 buyers got this, and whether it's still the case. I have the SL60D myself so just relaying the info) but if you notice the difference is the extra hole below the blue part in the middle, that is the dust extraction port for the self empty station (SD85 or D3).

The dust bin on the vacuum is quite small, so the upgraded dock (self-empty station) makes sense to have.

There is still the $189.99 Amazon listing, and tbh even at that price it's decent value and the convenience of using it will long make you forget that extra $20 you could have saved on this deal.

The Temu link is direct from Lubluelu as far as I can tell so I would imagine it's pretty much the same as buying from their eBay store but it seems every couple of months it's back down around $170 anyway

                  Hope that helps :)

                  • @bamzero: youre a legend for answering me at 2am lol

i just caved and bought the temu version.

before i jump on the bins. just confirming that both docks work with the sl60 correct? just that sd85 is bigger?

                    • @furythree: WA so not 2AM for me :)

If by the bins you mean the dustbin/mop then you wont need to buy another, the SL60D definitely comes with the right one.

As far as the dock/self empty station goes, both will work. They both have 2.5L bags, different physical dimensions.
SD85 might have higher suction, don't know whether its true or not as these product photos are the place I've seen it mentioned.
                      SD85 @ 30KPa vs D3 @ 18KPa

I have the SD85 though and its been working well so far.

                  • @bamzero: oh also is it worth pre buying the replacement brushes and mop pads and bags. or do they last a really long time?

                    are these the right ones?
                    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/375727915498

are there any other accessories like filters that need changing?

and finally are you allowed to use floor cleaner solutions or only straight water?

                    • @furythree: Haven't had mine long enough to say, but I can tell you those bags won't fit the SD85, and might be 2L ones which aren't for the D3.

Mop pads you shouldn't have to replace too often. Just chuck them in the wash (comes with 2)
I've only used water, but don't really use the mop much anyway.

It comes with a spare filter for the dustbin, not sure how often they need changing yet.

                      • @bamzero: ugh these bags say theyre compatible with the sd80 and 61

which ones work then. this is confusing lol

they say theyre 2.5L which is bigger

                        so theyre too big?

                        • @furythree: Which station are you getting?

These are the dimensions for the SD85 ones from Lubluelu site (and yes they've mirrored the image in some shots). Haven't bought any but at least gives you a reference of what to look for.

As for D3 bags, not sure so prob best to defer you to this post as they might have more info to offer.

Not a big rush anyway, you get 2 bags anyway which should last a while (at least 3 or 4 months I guess?) and someone did say you can empty the bag somewhat through the hole.

                          • @bamzero: i ordered the sd85 from ebay from your link. i like how its got the bigger storage for not much more

but if you say its got 2 free bags. that will last a while

i saw some degenerate in another post say he just vacuums the bag with another vacuum to reuse it lol

  • +1

Happy with mine, needed a bit of tech support though recently for potential warranty issue, absolute radio silience form their website form. (think i addressed myself [contacts had some light corrosion for charging])

    • I have no problem contact them with Amazon message.

  • Tempted. Does anyone know if this compares to the Eufy L50? The difference appears to be no mopping for the Eufy, dustbin capacity about 100ml smaller for Lubluelu, and it’s seems lighted and slightly shorter than the Eufy too. Suction power similar. Not sure about app and performance.
