      Thanks, @0jay. I just wasn't sure what other providers' 5G download speeds were, to be honest.

      As in, will it be noticeable using this as opposed to a Telstra uncapped plan, with an iPhone 16 Pro, for example?

        depends on who you talk to tbh

        some folks reckon 5g's great because it's faster but a good 4g connection is plenty fast (even at 150mb unless you're constantly downloading huge files).

        there may be advantages to 5g with latency if you're a gamer (i've no idea tbh i'm just spitballing) but for the most part you may even be better off turning 5g off on your phone to improve battery life (this may change as modems become more efficient).

        only you can answer at the end of the day, if you like to park beside your local tower and speedtest then this may not be a good plan for you.

          I'm currently on Boost, for my m,obile, which I just found out is also capped at 150mb

          I have a BELONG Data only eSim in a Netgear 5G Nighthawk router I use in my shop, and have noticed no issues with speed.

          However, BELONG Data Only eSims appear to be capped at 250mb.

            @GC67: I've used Belong as my main internet (study/work from home) for 3 or 4 years, never had cause to complain about speed and I use it for allsorts.

            Can't comment on the data only plans (though you can use this starter pack to activate one), there are limitations though one of which is no data banking and a few other things.

  Chosen aldi for their $57 plan as they are capped at 250mbs. All others are capped at 150mb
