After watching many YouTube videos (I found this comparison to be the most helpful) and trying a bunch in store, we decided the Joolz AER+ with its exceptionally small fold, light weight, folding bassinet (not included), and capsule compatibility to be the winner for us. Of course strollers seem to be a really personal choice so the only real advice I have is to go and feel for the quality and ease of fold in store if possible.

This is a not quite historical but pretty good price, and the price beat at Baby Bunting was very easy. As was pointed out in the comments of this recent post (which includes a leg rest) there is a Joolz AER2 incoming at some point in the near future, but it doesn't seem to have bassinet compatibility which ruled it out for us.

I should mention that if you want the leg rest too, then Amazon also has that listed for $58.65, which post price-beat at Baby Bunting ends up with a package price of $587.35 and would probably be easier to wrangle than the previous deal as Baby Bunting's price match policy is quite restrictive around bonus items and package deals.

Of course finding a second hand bargain on marketplace is the smartest move etc. etc.

Baby buntings dont price match amazon.

    • +3

They do, so long as the price is available to the general public i.e. not a “Prime only” price. And they will add on delivery if it is not included.

Source: me price matching Amazon earlier today, also their official price matching policy linked in the post.

They do, done it multiple times as long as the item is available to public

This is a solid, well built, high quality, portable stroller. Although not as light as i expected, it is just super high quality and very smooth.

    • Just add in an extra 90 for arm bar, then 60 for foot rest etx.

We have the baby jogger city tour 2 which I still prefer as it has a lie flat seat so it is suitable from newborn without needing to buy a bassinet. We’ve used the city tour for 2 kids and 4 overseas holidays and it’s held up well. It lives in the boot of the car otherwise.

    • I found when you need to drop down a few steps the brake pedal catches and scrapes because it sits outside the diameter of the wheel.

I've had yoyo, city tour, but aer+ is my preference.

Skip3 seems to be a better option at $100 less using the code posted the other day.

I haven't tried the new skip but the redesign and features looks awesome for the price.

Please have a play with it in store first, we use the same youtube channel to make a decision on our travel pram and found the Joolz AER+ didn't sit as upright as what the video was indicting. Seems like Australia has a different market/regulation which meant the seat at maximum upright position was still significantly sloped when compared to other brands like the Uppababy Minu V2.

    • Correct. Australian model doesn't lay flat. We got a compatible bassinet off marketplace until big enough.

    • Oh that makes so much sense, we were a bit surprised in store when we played with it

      • It's still a great pram and the 2nd on our short list if we weren't trying to fit a small 6 month old who keeps sliding down his seat
