Because.

Cheap.

The body of your deal is too short. You need at least 10 words.

Why was the man annoyed at his friend who was making fun of his facial hair?

..

Just saw the 1 star reviews.

What was your experience with this?

      • +2

You have to go pretty slow or else it your hairs will get caught, more worse with a clip attachment on it, including applying beard trimmer oil before and after use. Using it once a week just to maintain the beard, used it 3 times and gave up. Mind you this is with the Energiser Max 1.5v batteries too. Not recommended from my experience.

I have one testicle left. Feel natzish

    • +2

Did you try it on the plums or the face? On the face it's pretty ok for a quick 1 min trim before going to work without taking out the heavy duty Braun trimmer I have.

    • Can confirm. Sometimes it just plucks the hair out..

is this good or is it better to get a rechargeable one ?

    • +3

Are you inadvertently implying that you don't have spare Eneloops lying around?

      Leave this site, immediately lol

I've happily used one of these for six years now. Would not hesitate to buy one for the price!

But member @xxJAGUARxx said it's useless. Not sure who to believe.

      • +2

Only one of them enforces justice…

I think I have had mine for about 12 years, still going.

  • How do these compare to shaving with a razor, does the trimmer make you look clean shaven or like you have a 1 day or 2 day growth?

    • No.

    • +2

if you go down to the default blade - it will take you to a stubble depending on how thick your stubble is. For me, I'm medium stubble and shaving with an electric razor gives me my optima 3-4 day growth on day 2.

  • Side burns are cool

This thing is horrendous, wouldn't recommend

    • +1

      But why?

      • +1

because it gives you a side burn…

  • +3

Do not buy this.. It's ridiculously bad. I won't take it even if offered for free.

    • +1

Can someone explain why it is so bad?

      • +1

Won't cut evenly or properly (that's the brief answer I can give you), I ended up using a regular hair trimmer instead.

        • Do you have a thick beard or was that just for light shaving?

          • +1

@choofa: Tried both scenarios, mate. Not good in either way.

        • Perfect Fathers Day present to have the kids give to the ex then

  • What's the best trimmer to get?

  • -1

    Don't do it!!!

This thing is crap… absolutely useless. It doesn't cut well, and the one hair it does cut it pulls. Not worth it even if it was free.

If you want a half decent beard trimmer that doesn't cost the earth, have a look at this one: https://www.amazon.com.au/KEMEI-Professional-Clippers-Electr…

$55, USB charging, tight lines. Plenty of YouTube clips demonstrating its effectiveness.

This is terrible! It gets rusty as well. Please buy sth much better on aliexpress for the same price

  • Can anyone recommend a beard trimmer that runs on mains!?

I find all (even expensive $200ish), fail, with with low power (meaning to cut), and the battery eventually dies.

    Buy cheap, buy twice.

  • I have a different wahl and am looking to upgrade

    Wouldn’t risk this

  • Bought an adjustable Philips trimmer recently for $50ish at jb,
Seems ok with titanium blades apparently?
    Bought jb cause gift cards.

misread instructions now 1 nut shorter no regrets was $13

Mine turned up today and wow it’s loud and feels cheap but it works fine. Sure it’s a nasty little bugger and will Nick loose neck skin if turned anywhere near perpendicular but otherwise it’s a good little trimmer.
This will work fine for me to throw in the travel bag when I go away.
