  Do yourself a favour and measure the length of the cord you need before shopping for an iron.

  Went from a 2m Cord to a 1.8m and that 20cm made a ton of difference. Ended up swapping to something longer than 2m and it makes life easier

    Genuine question for one who doesn't own one: Apart from the obvious initial thought of moving closer to the port or getting an extension cable, how does the 20cm make that difference in your situation?

      You're ironing on an ironing board that has a fixed length so from the power point to the top of the board is a fixed distance.

      If you can't reach the top of the board in a good location you have to try one of the options listed, in my case all of them are much more of a pain in the butt than just buying an iron with the extra length.
