Similar UGREEN CD271 for $110.39, slightly different dimensions in case that makes a difference, or perhaps you're a UGREEN fanboi (if they exist?) :) Visualise the size difference here.

    • I'd get this, but it doesn't support fast charging 2.0 on my Samsung. It's so random, all their other devices do except this one.

I got the 4 port version of this. It’s worth keeping in mind that the wattage splits depending on what you have plugged in. So it’s not 100W on every port. I dunno if that’s obvious to most people, but want to me until I read the literature.
Luckily I didn’t need 100W output from four ports.

The 4 port is out $65 ATM too.

This unit is terrible, previous post had details about failures and i didn't trust them. Mine failed after about a month or two, ports kept turning on/off

    • +5

Been using mine every day since October last year, charging laptops, phones, drones, power banks, etc. I've taken it overseas a couple times, hasn't skipped a beat.

4.6 star from 1461 reviews and you wanna walk around here like this thing is actually good? /s

Let me guess - ports turn on and off when you connect multiple devices? That's called auto-negotiation and that's how they allocate power dynamically between devices on different ports.

      • no, nothing is changing, all the devices just keep blinking on/off as if it is doing that, but nothing is physically changing (no devices are moving around). Happens even with only one cable plugged in

Where did you buy it from? Why don't you return it?

          • @bio: I bought it on Amazon and did return it to amazon. was out of the returns period but they accepted it due to the fault.

Got one. Realised my current Anker charging station I bought in 2018 lol, so time for an upgrade and will relocate that one elsewhere.

  • What speed does it charge sammy phones at? Doesn't list any charging protocols… e.g. Quickcharge 2.0 45W

    • Scroll down half way, has a table under

      "Technical Specifications & Compatibility"

      USB-C1/C2 Output 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/5A, PPS: 3.3-21V/3A, 100W Max
      USB-C3/C4 Output 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/3.25A, PPS: 3.3-21V/3A, 65W Max
      USB-A1/A2 Output 5V/2A, 10W Max
Fast Charging Protocol PD3.0, PPS, QC4+(QC4.0/QC3.0), FCP, AFC, APPLE 5V2.4A, BC1.2, PPS, Galaxy Super Fast Charging (25W)

Also states "[Do not support Galaxy 45W super fast charging 2.0]" in the description area at the top of page if that's useful for you

I guess everyone has a different use case - but for under $30, this works for me. I haven't tested beyond about ~150w but seems ok so far
(Yes, its not the same, it only has 1 x 100w port, but you can buy 3 of these & have 18 ports, ~600 watts & a small fire hazard for the same price)

Also wondering if the Anker has a C8 (fig 8) power socket - or is it hard wired?

For travelling I pack a longer IEC C7 to 240 mains piggy back which is handy when accomodation has no spare power points.

For travel I like these, they are really versatile.

  • Is this any good, guys? Thinking to buy 1 but reluctant because of all the reviews.

  • Good charger only issue is the throttling and how it will not hold 2x100w for over about 30mins.

  • I'm at the point where I don't want to buy anything new with USB A. Is there a quality equivalent with USB-C only?

    • I use USB-A for dumb devices, some things don't charge through USB-C.

  • I've bought this couple of months ago and I'm having an issue with charging and using my laptop at the same time.

Whenever my laptop is being charged via thunderbolt port (USB-C), I can feel constant tingling/electric(?) sensation on my hands.
When I revert back to the laptop's power brick, I don't get this sensation.

Not sure what's wrong with my unit but yeah, I now cannot use this power bank to charge my laptop.
