No, it looks like JB, meta and Ray-ban are doing a 20% of sale. For example, the glasses you linked are here on the Ray-ban website: https://www.ray-ban.com/australia/electronics/RW4006ray-ban%… and the cost is $359.20 - so 20cents more expensive than JB hifi.
There are various models (for example, clear lenses or transition lenses), hence why the pricing looks different.
EDIT: I can't access the meta website, but noting OP said 20% of sale, it sounds about right in terms of pricing across all 3 cohorts
I don't think starting with "no" is correct, maybe a "yeah but".
I'm looking at the OP link vs JB. I have to admit, I only looked at the first item on the meta site which is listed at $421.20 though. Looks like they do have other skus at lower prices.
JB is still cheaper on my reference SKU though (tinted Wayfarers @ $359 vs $431.20 . I would personally prefer to shop at JB than meta too.
Maybe I've got my SKUs wrong. I'm not in the market for them and haven't investigated it all. Just posted what I saw within a 60-second window.
Apologies, I did realise my error as I posted.
Yes, for some glasses, the price difference is roughly 20%, an example being (apart from what you posted), is the Wayfarer Shiny black G-15 lenses, which are on sale at JB but not on Ray-ban's website. However, there are also some models that are discounted at various retailers.
I do agree that JB is the better buy, unless there is a particular model of which JB doesn't have.
I wouldn't be caught dead wearing these.
I recently bought a pair (just the sunnies version), and I like them. They are normal looking (i.e. don't stand out) - at least the model I got (wayfarers), but to each their own.
Where can you try these on?
JB Hi Fi have them on sale. See my comment above.
Also - places like OPSM and Sunglasses hut stock them.
11% cashback too
How can I make good use of my private health extra?
Need to find a place that stocks them, and of which is an accredited optometrist shop with your health insurer - for example OPSM. You also need to put prescription lenses in (which may be expensive in total, depending on what you need).
I have been using the Wayfarer Transition Lenses version since late November and it is a party trick and also good for those outdoor POV experiences
indoor pov just as fun lol
Anyone had experience with having another rayban wayfarer style with prescription lenses pop out these lenses and put them into the meta ai versions with success
😎
