  • Ready to go but cannot find my diamond

  • -4

    Nope

  • +1

    Mine is only $30 off/month.

    • +2

We used to get 40% off on gold 😕

      • I just received 40% off on Gold

  • +4

Diamond tier is for customers with >$1mil home lending.

    • +11

      ">$1mil home lending."

      Targeted deal for Sydney folks.

    • I have >1m in home loans and is only on Yello with $10 off offered for this deal. There must be other factors considered to qualify

      • +1

From memory, you need >15 transactions in a month

    • +1

Or a cash balance of $250k+

  • $30/month off for Yellow Gold

  • I took up the offer and have had nothing but drop outs and heaps of failures to load. I've tried different DNS providers, adjusting MTU size, resets on everything, disabiling IPV6. Nothing has worked. Will be churning away because it's not worth saving $40 if the service is shit.

    • I'm with More (3 years free with home loan) and it's been really good. Definitely better than the TPG and Optus prior. 3 different houses I've moved too.

    • +1

Did you request Customer Service to remove CG-NAT from your IP?

      • Well I hadn't but thanks to your post I now have. Thanks. I'll see if it improves.

Edit: Initial impression is it seems way better!

        • How did you request this? I've been constant drop outs as well.

          • @BuyNowThinkLater: Didn't even have to ask, called them, told them the issue and the guy ran a few tests. Was the first thing he tried.

  • Mine is only $10 off per month. But I just dropped back to Commbank Yello after refinanced my loans away from CBA. I did sign up NBN and Mobile with More last month though as I still had my old More promo code from Homeowner package.

  • +7

Yeah these are rubbish. 35% off was much better than $15 off. I'm moving to Superloop.

    • +2

Be warned I churned to superloop and got waaaay shittier service quality (poor speeds, long pings). The POI must have been completely overloaded. So YMMV!

  • Enshittified as usual since prior to the Yello rework this month it was up to 40% off with easier eligibility criteria, not to mention More's pricing has the discount essentially built in because of the inflated RRP.

Used them for a while when they were brand new and had 50% off, speeds were fine in my POI but questionable routing to Asia meant terrible latency in some games. Haven't tried other Vocus wholesale ISPs since then so unsure if this particular issue was isolated to More.

  • Called them and was on hold for 30 minutes. Spoke to someone and they put me on hold another 15 mins. They told me my existing plan can’t get more than a $15 per month discount due to me being existing customer despite the Commbank Yello offer stating I have $30 off for 24 months as existing customer. Customer service person insisted existing customers do not get the $30 off that’s only for new customers. And despite me reading the terms and conditions to her in the commbank app notification stated that their comms differ and they can’t give the discount. Just a warning anyone who is trying to get this discount with existing plan.

    • +1

yeah same thing happened to me! what a joke

    • +2

You can add the code yourself in the online portal (extend for 24m for 36m total not +36m).

But the portal is cooked as usual right now and I could only apply it to one mobile plan out of three. The other two are eligible but the portal is struggling on older services…

I churned away to move up to 1000/400 ABB Pro plan, but will probably move back once the increased speeds come in later this year.

    • is her name by any chance Megan from NSW?

  • I still have the "CommBank Discount ($92 max) -NBN Charges - 100% discount" appeared on my monthly invoice. I'm paying 4 dollars a month for 100/20 at the moment (increasing to $7 next month). I don't know when it will expire and I will just enjoy it while I can.

    • Wow, mine is just $48 off. How'd you get that much discount?

      • I dig the old deal out: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/704786
I got a home load with CBA during the promotion. It started with $77 off. It increased to $92 at some point.

So it's for 3 years, mine should end next March then.

  • I just renewed at 35% off for 12 months, and now I'm on the lowest tier of Yello. Hopefully that discount stays… More has been good for me, but there's no way I'm staying for just $10 off their full price.

    • +1

The discount should stay for the 12 months but yeah after that it's probably time to swap.

I have $15 but might look around for other ISPs after it expires.

      • I’m hoping it’s just their shonky online portal, but mine is now showing $135/m plan, minus $0 Commbank Yello discount, total plan fee of $135/m. I’ve got 11 months remaining of my $0 discount tho.

I have sent them a support request to confirm.

  • Mine is only $15 off

  • Luckily I relieved for 35% off for another 12 months. Will be moving to another after that if plans aren’t cheaper with more

  • I have been downgraded. I have had my loans since 1991 with commbank and this is the way they treat me. You would think they would reward a loyal customer?

Have they still got the initial discount on the more telecom mobile plans? Can’t see them in the system now.

    • Lowest tier yello only gets $4 ongoing so dont think you need a code from yello. Do you still have loans with them though?

  • +3

  • Who is eligible for Diamond?
    Can't find conditions.

    • +3

Its in the t&c pdf at bottom of commbank yello page.
$1m+ in elgible homeloans or $250k in eligible balance plus 15 eligible transactions

      • I couldn’t get clarification what eligible balance means. As in does it need to be savings accounts or can it be a high interest account. They did it know. If anyone else does please let me know?

        • +1

          Page 5 & 6 of the t&c pdf

          • @8azinga: Thank you . I swear last time I looked there was two accounts listed one of which was discontinued. Maybe they updated it.
            This is very useful.

  • +1

I noticed the price of their Superfast tier (250/21) has decreased from $115 to $110 on their website since 04/06, but the price on the new invoice today is still $115. Has anyone got the same issue?

  • For those who have signed up with More, any comments on the Eero or Netcomm modems?

    • +1

i just signed up for the netcomm. reviews suggest you're paying more for the eero for its smart home integration functions (and some advanced features you need to pay a subscription) but basic home internet stuff doesnt seem to make a difference between the two.
