Can I have some advise on robotic vacuum cleaner for a 2 story house with tiles and laminate flooring and a hair shading pet dog (Labrador). I saw Roborock S7 Max Ultra on sale at Amazon but I am not sure if it is worth the $1000. . I am looking for both vacuum and mopping. I had one Deebot t8 plus but it died in 15 months and repairing cost of $300+ is not worth going for it.

Do they go up and down stairs now?
If it runs often, like every night, then wouldn't the wet swishers on the cheaper ones keep the floors fairly clean between manual mopping?
No. We've got a Roborock S7 with the vibrating mop. Run daily in the kitchen/dining area. Does a decent job except round the edges in the kitchen, which to be fair would be the worst area for mess. But it consistently fails to mop the border areas properly, we end up needing to wipe it over ourselves regularly.
Still much more convenient than vacuuming + mopping ourselves.
IMO, more important than the method (vibrate vs spin vs roll) is the amount of downforce - if it's not pushing hard enough, it may not get everything.

After watching a couple of reviews, it's basically just a tech demo at this point in time. I definitely wouldn't buy it and give it a couple of years.

Max Ultra Extreme. It has all the superlatives, go for it.
I don't know enough to give a specific recommendation but we have the Roborock QRevo Edge C and it's pretty good. We have have pets and all tiled floors. Two things I like about it are the dual rollers which seem to work well in avoiding hair tangles and the rotating mops.
I've read that roller mops are even better still.
I'm not sure if the mop on the S7 will be good enough for your needs?
