Is there any PFOA or PFAS in this? Will this eventually wash off and end up in our waterways or in Sydneysiders' water supply?

    • I thought forever chemical do not break down?
Anyway, how can I tell as consumer if things contains Pfoa or not?

      • I’d like to know too.

I thought forever chemical do not break down?

They don't break down chemically, but physically a paint or coating can abrade and break into millions or billions of particles that eventually get into aquatic and sea life and from there spread throughout the entire food chain.

Anyway, how can I tell as consumer if things contains Pfoa or not?

        I ask the manufacturers.

    • Your shower doesn't drain to water ways it drains to the sewage system, that would be illegal to drain to water ways.
I hardly think you should be worried about this and more worried about things like car tire dust and brake dust. The millions of cars on the road all that dust is washed directly into water ways.

  • Alternatively just grab a $20 bottle of MrFix ceramic coating. Similar shit different bottle. Coat your car and your shower with 1 bottle easily.

    • That's that's actually a pretty good idea.

  • Has anyone used this stuff or something similar and Does it really work.

I do and I think it works well, but don’t expect it to be a miracle. Even with wipe downs after the last shower, still does accumulate some marks, BUT I can extend my cleaning intervals from a weekly clean to a monthly clean. And after the clean, the shower does look like brand new! But note, I have been using it since the shower was new.. not sure how well it works on older shower screens.

      • Do you apply both on the inside wet area and outside dry area?

        • No, just the inside. Says it lasts 3 years, but mine still seemed to be doing it’s job for more than 3.5 years.
