  • "Masimo Consumer (…, soon to be Harman)"
    Wow, that didn't last long.

  • damn cnet were impressed weren't they?

  • Got mine a year or so ago for the bedroom. Unfortunately the Samsung TV there is only ARC, not EARC so I'm missing the DD+/Atmos until I upgrade the TV (need this one to fail first send prayers my way).

Sound quality is pretty good. For THIS price point it's excellent.

In the year or so I've had it it occasionally starts and no sound comes out. The old turn it off and on again fixes it.

It ONCE would not start up at all. Removing the power for 15 minutes or so seemed to fix that one.

Other than that trouble free and good quality sound. Can't really speak for the Atmos/DD+ effects too much I only had it hooked up to an EARC TV to test it once and they worked and were good, but I don't have an in-depth test/thought on that.

So just be aware you need EARC on your TV to fully utilise DD+/Atmos - not sure when EARC became mainstream on all TVs but my Samung is 2011 and does not have it.
