or is the trend shifting toward hybrid designs with hard plastic backs and soft TPU edges?

have you used an all-clear silicone case before?
just so you are aware … after afew months (possibly due to heat of phone?) … your CLEAR soft silicone case will have a brownish tinge to it.
possibly that is why going hard back + soft edges?
have previously used clear soft silicone on on 2x phones.
also Asia market seems to pushing more towards hard back cases.
My current phone has a hard-back casing/sides.
