Coconut drink not good to consume too much due to high cholesterol contents. Like everything else, eat/ drink in moderation.

      • I think you might be confusing it with coconut milk?

Studies have shown coconut water can actually help with cholesterol.

Have spoken to dietcian, she said it's a sometimes treat, but if you're craving drink: water, coconut juice, water.

    • Hi - GP here.
Crude summary is this is good in the context of when youre losing lots of electrolytes i.e. sport, diarrhoea, vomiting, etc.

In terms of a daily drink/water substitute - not ideal. Lots of sugar and being sold as a 'hydrating' drink which is true, but only when youre needing hydration in the contexts above.

We have some at home but its purely as we like the taste of it. We dont drink it for its health benefits, unless we are sick/sport. Bang for buck (though far from natural) is your powerade type powders if youre a sportsperson etc. If youre in a pinch, can make your own electrolyte solution at home with basic pantry ingredients but these usually lack potassium and magnesium.

The chocolate one is the bomb (not on sale though), if its straight up you want then may as well go the woolies spec @ $2.50 per litre in a pack of 4: https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/546840/woo…

Or $2.85 per litre individually: https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/546615/woo…

Also, side note, Cocobella finally brought back their coffee flavoured version which is epic: https://www.coles.com.au/product/cocobella-flavoured-coconut…

    Watermelon is the best.

  • Thanks OP. Omo also part of this offer so went with one Omo Ultimate Sensitive and two of these six packs.

  • Hmmm. Followed all the steps and the $10 off didn't apply at checkout. Will have to contact Amazon. Sigh.

    • Did you order it in the app? It only show on the app. Website won’t show

      • I was using my desktop and it showed the promotion.

When I added the items to my cart it showed a green banner with:
"Your order qualifies! 3 items from this promotion in your cart: $58.40"

        • As I said you must order via the Amazon app, not desktop, it won’t show on checkout even if you see the promo in your desktop

  • Thanks OP, I paid $42.47 with s&s

  • Thanks, just ordered, my wife is addicted to this stuff :)

  • These go regularly enough on sale that you don't need to buy in such bulk?

  • Thanks OP.

  • Looks like they updated their terms. Promotion has ended…

    • What did they update them to? It ended today a few hours ago while I was in the middle of doing it - but previously I thought it said it ended some time in late June… did they pull it early?

  • cant believe i missed this
