It's a popular pram overseas, but somehow doesn't get much love in Australia.
Comparable to the popular Joolz Aer+ and would say it's worth it for this price point.

Some highlights:
- automatic single button folding!
- travel friendly (6.6kg and confirmed to fit in overhead cabins)
- lie flat seat

I think the Piastri branded one is a bit more popular in Australia these days.

    • You mean the Maclaren?

Just don't get a Stroll. It's a rich daddy stroller but drives like crap and will keep running into other strollers

      • +1

If you do bump into something, there are hundreds of sound bytes that can play, which shirks accountability. E.g. if you hit the wall, it might say "this idiot just slammed on the brake, check wing damage".

  • the Hamilton Baby stroller is slightly faster

  • Hard to find any reviews on this pram, does anyone have any real world experience with it?

    • So not that much Influencer then.

  • Looking for a stroller as we are expecting our first one soon, any recommendations for mid-budget stroller. Was looking JoolzAer+ but not sure of it as everyday stroller and it would need a bassinet as well?

    • Depends on your criteria - are you looking to optimise for weight? Or folding? Or suspension? Or accessories? Or basket size? Something else?

      • Thank you for your reply! To be honest, looking at something that is a sweet spot for all of those criteria. But primarily - easy folding, less weight and good wheels/suspension that isn't clanky.

As this is our first one, I am out of my depth here to be honest with you haha.

Maybe consider the XL version? Same easy folding but slightly heavier for the trade off of bigger wheels/bit more stability.

I've been looking at prams for the past year as we've had around 8 babies born in our friends and family circle in that time. Some of the main things couples seem to not consider is who would be the main user and what the main storage area of the pram would be. We've had couple purchase the large dual pram as they know they'll be having multiple kids but the mother is now struggling to take the pram in and out of the car when she's by herself. Others have travel prams but their kid refuses to be front facing.

The general choice we've seen that has fit most couple's requirements is something that has a medium-large basket, rotatable seat, around 9-10kg, can lay flat for newborns or has a bassinet option. From those criteria, the Uppababy Cruz worked the best for us, if you can get a good deal or a good quality 2nd hand that is.

An alternatives are the Redsbaby Onyx, Nuvu Trip Next, Milly & Coup.

          • @CoreNex: Thank you, that makes looking out for options a whole lot easier.

Will keep an eye out. Appreciate ya

Haven't looked at what's available for ~5 years but we loved the Milly & Coup pram we got, it was more affordable than the other fancy options but was plenty big enough, fold down really small, steers nicer than the much more expensive prams we tried out. Give it a look.
We also always had a mountain buggy, they do fold down a lot smaller than you'd imagine, we can even get the double variant into my wife's Hyundai accent boot easily. Even better handling, pretty cheap to get them with the extra bits like bassinets on marketplace.

      • Thank you, will have a look at both. Helps a lot :)
