Note that these are NOT rechargeable despite stating "Features & Specs: Reusability - Rechargeable"

Death, taxes and misleading Amazon spec sheets.

  • "has a limit of 1 per customer"

    • Does it? I bought 2

  • Added these to my watch list but when it comes to actually being able to get them can't think of why anymore lol.
Especially AA's … so many unused eneloops, and not because I have too many but because most of my high drain devices are all AAA's -_-

Besides from the Nest camera that gets mentioned in prev deals, is there anything else that would benefit or need these over eneloops? Obviously something I don't own now to need it, but maybe in future.

All sorts of low drain remote controls (dumb IR none display ones), basically set and forget. You wont need to replace it for at least 5-10 years

Nest Protect Battery Smoke Detectors require these

  • Can't add to cart

You can now. Add 1 to your cart and add more by adding in the cart.

    Whats the capacity of these?

I've been using these AA rechargeable lithiums which are around 2000mAh and hold 1.5V until near the end then drop to 1.1V to simulate battery going flat.
Sure, they are more expensive but supposed to be good for 1200 to 2000 cycles depending on which brands claim you believe.

The Xtar ones are too expensive and not really any better.
But I got this 8 pack Homesuit brand which were about $38 at the time and there are these imuto ones for $35.69 at the moment which I haven't tried (fair warning, I did try the imuto AAA but they didn't hold 1.5V as advertised so returned, not much better than NiMH and a lot more expensive. Don't know if their AA's fare any better)

I left discharge tests in my reviews. Dont think I've added my one for Xtar 4150mWh ones actually, but basically you get 2000mAh at 1.5V then it drops to 1.1V for quite a long time and squeezes out another 500mA. The Homesuit gave about 2000mAh at 1.5V and another 100mAh at 1.1V over a much shorter period but at nearly half the cost (and includes a charger).

3500 mAh capacity for these batteries. It would probably blow your rechargeable lithium out of the water for capacity retention. But it's a once use only battery.

Here's the full spec sheet for these batteries. Contains performance testing results etc. You can see the Milliamp-Hours Capacity diagram.

      • Yeh, they are lithium cells (with a buck converter to output at 1.5V) and they rate them in mWh but for my own comparison against NiMH/Alkaline I'm measuring the mAh I get during my own discharge tests.

A quick Google told me the Energizer Lithiums are at least 3000mAh so if you need a longer runtime they'd still be the better way to go from that aspect (spec sheet shows them to be closer to 3500mAh.)
