This brought me back! I remember when the one in Wetherill Park opened. I worked 2 minutes away. I went down and was greeted by CEO Steven Marks and got my free burrito. It was so delicious I went back an hour later and Steven saw me and was like "hey you were just here, but I'll let you have another one on the house because it must mean they are that good" (or something along those lines). I ate good that day, and got a moustache painted on my face. Officially the third Gomez, or Guzman, or something.
The lines are long but they absolutely smash through them pretty quickly
$5 is now seen as lose change by businesses with all the inflation in such a short period of time.

FYI, neither founder of GYG are Hispanic - so not sure how this restaurant can claim to be "authentic Mexican food"

I live near by and saw the $5 Burritos & Bowls sign on the store.. didnt know it was in 22 days :) i'll pop in on that day.. i think the line will be pretty bad though… GYG used to have FREE Burritos & Bowls on opening day.. i guess thats a thing of the past.. i remember the lines going on and on haha
