PAYG VoIP: $2 Credit on $0 Monthly Plan, National/Local Calls 9c/Call, Mobile .05c/Min., SIP Trunk $.50/Month @ Crazytel

TLDR; I signed up to this to make a call to Fiji for free. You can use their app on your phone.

So I had to make a quick call to Fiji the other day. Neither Coles Mobile or Amaysim allow you to call Fiji, Skype is gone and was left with trying to find an app or VOIP to make the call.

Crazytel gives you $2 credit to spend on calls. Rates. They have an Android/iOS app. Fairly straightforward, used the app to call Fiji. Can be a useful app for those esim data deals which offer no calling.

You need to add a SIP trunk which is $.50/month (so number shows as your mobile) but guess you can just delete when not using.

The dashboard also allows you to do some PABX and fairly advanced features.

  • Calls to Local & National 9c per call
  • Calls to Australian Mobiles $0.05c/min
  • Calls to 13/1300 $0.25c/call
  • International rates starting at $0.0050/min
  • SIP Trunks $0.50/Per Month each

Additional features

  • Buy Additional Phone Numbers (DIDs)
  • Free Number Porting from an existing provider - CAT-A only
  • Unlimited Channels / Concurrent calls
  • Unlimited SIP Trunks Creatations - $0.50/Per Month each
  • Call Forwarding
  • Failover Options - failover your incoming calls to your mobile if your internet goes down!

        • Yes, over the course of a year, I save $1.80 !!!

  • Joined last month and the service has been great. Setting up can be tricky depending on your needs and whether you're tech savvy.

  • I've been with them for a few years with no issues, the cheapest way I've seen to keep a VoIP landline

  • Yeah these guys a good - been using them for about three years.

  • noob in this area: guys, is it that provider when I can create phone numbers like email aliases for different needs on a phone app and then destroy them when not needed anymore (I also heard that you can have a number per country and a local would think that dialling locally)

Yes, in a way. You have to pay for each number you create.
