  • Ripper. Been eyeing it out

1800W is better value for $845.06 (using same coupon code in post)

    • VoltX 2000W 1536Wh is better value and same price https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/296711608729

      • The Voltax is more powerfull, bigger capacity, but slower charging via 240 V and less features,

        also $1094.

        • +3

Indeed slower charging and less features, but couple days ago I paid $853.32 with JUNEOFY22 code.

          • @alpln: Oh, so the code still works now? It does not show it on listing, I did not try.

        • By less features, is it mainly the fast charging? Ops item has ups function, I can't see any mention of that in the voltax. Do any of you know if it has ups crossover?

      • It looked so big though , don't u reckon

        • That's what she said. But fair enough, completely different use cases I presume. My use case to keep it in storage (there's no power) to charge ebikes without taking ebikes to my apt. Size and weight don't matter to me as I'll use trolley to take it to the apt to charge.

  • Just got mine delivered today. Ordered 2 nights ago for A$616.55.

  • Could you set this up as a permanent setup in a outdoor shed to power lights and then take when we do go camping

    • Why not? As long as you also have a way of re-charging it.

I've been looking to do a similar thing as a UPS for my PC. Free solar power, with a wifi switch via HomeAssistant to keep the battery between 30 and 90% full.

For basic shed lights? You wouldn't even need AC for topup, just a single solar panel and you'd be set!

      • Been wanting to do something similar for my aquarium heater to use AC power during the day and the battery overnight, given it is 300w and comes on for 2-3hrs per night sometimes 2 separate lots of 2-3hrs, but not sure how much I get out of this with it only being 300w

        • 300W x 3hrs = 0.9 kWh

This unit would get drained in a single warming session so probably not quite big enough (unless you can move your warming periods to early morning/late arvo to take advantage of more solar input).

    Yep, just got one. Thanks.

Edit: used cashrewards for a further 2.7% discount. Not sure if it will go through but got the "being tracked email".
