iPhone 5 16GB - $695 + $16 Shipping @ NoWorries (Cheapest Online Price) Plus Other Sale Items

80

Hey guys,

Today we have some great offers for you from No Worries highlighted by the iPhone 5 16GB which are now in stock for $711 ($695+$16 Shipping). This price is cheaper than Kogans (posted two days ago on here http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/90900) and much cheaper than the Apple Store.

We also have ipad minis (from $354), Galaxy S3's (from $495) and our $1 specials with free shipping are still available. Pick up screen protectors, cases and cables for just $1

Previously there were some questions about warranties on our tablets and mobile phones so I wanted to clarify. All items sold come with a 1 year Australian warranty. If there is a fault with the device it needs to be returned to the NoWorries head office in Mt. Waverley, VIC where it will be assessed and serviced at an authorized service center for that brand or a replacement will be issued.

Hope that clarifies things but please post questions if you have them.

Is this Australian stock or a grey import like Kogan's iphones?

    • These are grey import like Kogan however all services will be done in Australia under the Australian warranty.

      • From the Kogan listing it was noted in the comments that warranty would not be covered in Australia, any issues would need to be sent back to Kogan for local repairs overseas. Are you sure its covered under Australian warranty?

        • I think what he meant is the company will take care of the warranty (means you send it to them, they send back to wherever the stock is from or put it in an authorised repair center as they mentioned).

        • +1

When he says you get Australian warranty I think he means through them, not Apple.

        • +1

100% positive warranty repair will take place in Australia at a certified service agent for that manufacturer. The item just needs to be returned to NoWorries head office in Mt. Waverley, Victoria.

        • +1

Yes, the item is returned to us and we facilitate the repair with an authorized repairer.

        • Does authorized repairers include those small asian booths that use non-genuine parts?

        • No it does not. It includes authorized service centers approved by the manufacturer.

        • Would be great if you could put "The item just needs to be returned to NoWorries head office in Mt. Waverley, Victoria." into the description. Otherwise it looks like it can be returned to Apple from the description. A bit misleading.

        • Thanks for the suggestion. I have updated the post.

Apple Australia will not provide warranty for grey imports, specifically for iPhones.

      • Who provides this Australian warranty?

If it is as I suspect from the Terms and Conditions Page you, then this service may be a bit more difficult, time consuming and costly when compared to the Apple Australian warranty process (which is what people may be expecting when reading your comment).

10.9 …If, once the Goods are returned, No Worries Australia decides (acting reasonably) that the Goods do satisfy the conditions of the standard warranty, the extended warranty or any conditions under clause 10.4, then No Worries Australia may charge You an assessment fee and any associated costs in returning the Goods to You.

This point in the terms and conditions is one of the reasons I draw this conclusion as Apple warranty would involve a cost free replacement of the faulty device.

        • NoWorries provides the Australian warranty

        • and what about the assessment fee and associated costs in returning the device after you provide the warranty service?

        • +2

If the item is deemed to be faulty, no assessment fee will be charged and neither would returning the device to the customer.

These fees will only occur if under the warranty period the item is returned with a fault that is clearly caused by the user eg. water damage. An assessment fee would be charged to determine the issue and the customer will be contacted and informed that there would be a charge repair the item and if they would like to proceed with the repair.

          Hope that clarifies things.

Does the charger come with an Australian plug or does an adaptor have to be used?

    • An adapter is required but is shipped with the product.

  • Samsung - Galaxy S3 - 16GB - i9300 (Black or Blueor White) for Special Price: $495.00
    Is better price than others?

    • Kogan's list price is $499 + $19 shipping on the pebble blue. Ours is $495 + $16 shipping.

Even on ebay these handsets are selling for $520+

      • Valuebasket.com have the black Lumia 820 for $433 with free shipping. Can you match that?

Hi, the phone you have referenced is the 8GB for $433.

          We have the 4G 16GB for $444 http://noworries.com.au/phones/nokia-lumia-820-4g-16gb-blak.…

Unfortunately we don't stock the 8GB so we can not match it.

        • How much would be services tax (GST) on Samsung - Galaxy S3 - 16GB - i9300 (Black or Blueor White) ? Im asking this to see if and how much $ I can claim through Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS) @ Airport.

        • Unfortunately as the GST is not itemized no GST is paid on that particular product.

I don't want to tell you a GST portion and then have you at the airport unable to claim.

  • Will the invoice show your ABN and GST amount?

    • -2

      Hi Thomaskt,

The amount shown on the invoice is total paid and is not broken down to show the GST amount therefore GST is included in the price. This is the same as how retailers like Kogan display the price on their invoices.

      Hope that helps.

      • So cannot claim any GST at airport for these iPhone purchases?

        • I would say no as the GST component is not itemized on the invoice.

        • Just to be clear, are you charging GST or not?
If you are then it should be itemised on the invoice.

        • As the item is not sold from within Australia no GST is paid and therefore is not charged on the invoice. Hope that clears things up.

        • Yes, that clears things up but your earlier comment is clearly wrong when you said: "therefore GST is included in the price".

        • Unfortunately I cannot edit the previous comment to clarify. Apologies.

      • Kogan is not charging GST as they are invoicing from an offshore company and not legally required to charge GST.

        • We work exactly the same.

        • Lol so you never actually knew if you charged it or not. You just assumed Kogan did and never itemised it.

        • -1

          I never assume :)

        • Well 1st you say you pay GST, then you say you don't. I don't know what to believe with this rep/company.

        • I am sorry you feel that way but I have made the correction. We handle GST the same way Kogan does. As these are grey imports the sale takes place outside of Australia and therefore GST payment is not legally required as stated earlier. I apologise for the confusion.

As stated previously GST is not itemised on the invoice and therefore a refund at the airport would not work as there is no proof of GST component. If I could edit the first post about GST included I would but unfortunately I cannot.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.

  • how long have you guys been in business? good price btw.

      • alright thanks

it's a tough crowd here, it's nothing personal. Buckle up!

        • +1

          Yeah I know,

That's why I am here :) Happy to answer any questions as I know the Ozbargainers are trying to get the best deal.

$7 or peace of mind. I rather buy from Kogan. Thanks for advertising them in the title.

    • +2

Sorry you feel that way. Peace of mind can add up when your Kogan product needs to be shipped overseas for repair though. Just something to keep in mind :)

      • +1

valid point. + for removing Kogan from the title

    • +3

Since when did Kogan = peace of mind lulz. Plus, Ruslan Kogan's face does nothing to bring me peace of mind.

  • Nokia Lumia 820 for $399 incl shipping with coupon code (Unique Mobiles) 48 hrs only

    • They seem to only have the 8GB version.

    • 8GB is so 2008… (or "you're so two thousand and late" as the BEP puts it)

    • What's the coupon code?

  • Seems like a lot of discount for Iphone 5 going on these few days, is that because the report of Apple reducing their orders by half due to slack in demand for Iphone 5 is real? I still think Apple will sell tons of Iphone everyday.

You need to remove "Australian warranty". You are misleading.
