Large Screen All-in-One Windows PC

Looking for an all-in-one for a relative, 24" and 27" are the most common.

Specifically wanted an all-in-one, current monitor is 32" and do not want to go smaller.

It seems only HP has something close 31.5", probably more like 31", at a high price (OmniStudio X).

Only other options or suggestions?

Could get a capable mini PC and choose any monitor you want.

      Too much choice though.

      That gives some people anxiety.

    • Tried it, no go.

Had a Dell all-in-one, 23", wanted a larger monitor, so bought a micro PC along with a 32" curve monitor.

Even though the footprint is similar but 2 devices mean more cables and more buttons to press, also not a touch screen.

So want to go back to all-on-one.

      • 2 devices mean more cables and more buttons to press

Realistically you're only looking at 2 extra cables (+1x power cord for the monitor separate from the PC, and +1x cable to connect the monitor to the PC) and maybe 1 extra button (a separate power button for the PC and another for the monitor).

As for touch screens, GordonD has explained the limitations quite well.

    27 inch 1080p, Core i5-12450H /16gb Ram / 512Gb SSD machines for around 689

Major downside is these AIOS have really low resolution / low Pixel density and you'd be better off just putting a mini pc on the back of a 4k TV or ultra wide. Most "Studio" sized AIO pcs are huge rip off's and have compromised displays or specs.

    • "current monitor is 32" and do not want to go smaller."

  • Probably because all-in-ones have touch screens, 24" and 27" touch screens are most economical to manufacture.

  • Lenovo. You are buying an IBM machine no matter what/who/where its current name, owner, and manufacturing place.

Not many big touch screens because there's not many gorillas with credit cards.

A bigger screen requires you to sit further back from it, or your eyes get tired from sweeping back and forth. But a touch screen requires you to be in comfortable arms length or your arms get tired. Given the proportions and size of the human body touch screens start running into problems at 30". Big touchscreens are OK for occasional use, but not continuous use.

    • On that note, I have just noticed Dell all-in-ones come with non-touch screen in default configuration, though touch screen can be added.

But still limited to 27", guess they only have the parts to make 24/27 inch all-in-ones.
