Looking for Second-Hand Hamm 3412 & 3414 Rollers in Australia (Preferably Sydney)

Hey everyone,

Admin, please move this post to appropriate heading if you feel that I've posted in wrong heading.

I’m currently searching for a second-hand Hamm 3412 or 3414 heavy machinery roller and would love some guidance on where to find a reliable dealer in Australia—preferably Sydney.

If anyone has contacts, recommendations, or knows a dealer that specializes in used Hamm rollers, I’d really appreciate the info!

Thanks in advance.

  • Putting in a new a driveway at home are we?
Are you sure the 3412 is big enough for the job? I mean, it only weighs 12t and can compact a mountain.

    • I'm just asking for a family member construction business to export it overseas.

Mate, you missed a ripper special that was posted here last week. Buy one Hamm 3414, Get a Hamm 3412 half price.
        I couldn’t believe it either.

Anyway, I’ve now got two of them sitting in the shed. I just use it to drive to the shops. No one gets in my way and the streets have never been smoother. Honestly, the council should be paying me at this point.

I think this is one of those things that if you can't figure out how to buy one, you probably shouldn't own one.

  • Did you try an AI search
    https://www.perplexity.ai/search/where-to-buy-second-hand-ha…

Ask subsequent or new questions. For example, 'are there any close to {wherever you need it}'. If you get a 'Sign-up message', click 'Close' at the bottom.

Yeah I did. Tried it on copilot the response i get is similar to perplexity. Tried reaching out to those businesses or contacts didn't help much. Hence, checking on here hoping that someone on here might have a contact or knows anyone in this industry to get the Hamm's roller.

      • I was glad to get riff of it to be honest. I went through 2 cans of 'start ya bastard' every morning.

I just hire stuff from Kennards. :+)

  • Depending on where you are exporting to, is it any better to try interstate, or is ex Sydney the most economical departure point, period?

    • The only reason i mentioned Sydney is that i can inspect without the need to fly out interstate. Worse case scenario is to check interstate.

      • Suss out what big road projects are going on around the country. See who the major contractors are. Enquire directly if you can. After the bigger projects wind down, a lot of gear gets moved on.
