Do you think Rob the Dentist uses Oral-B Satin tape? We know that he brushes his teeth, but we don’t know if he flosses, let alone with satin tape.

Great price but I unfortunately need some earlier last week.. always the way isn't it.

Just thought I'd let others know that this is a much wider and flatter floss than most. I prefer it as regular ones fray too easily and it seems to be what my dentist uses so that's always a good sign.

  • I thought Rob the Dentist uses these satin tapes to tie together the beads.

Perfect for those with tight spaces between teeth. Glides much better than standard floss.

  • My fave floss! The others thread and break when you floss. This one doesn’t.

    Mmm yummy pfas.

    • Any pfas-free ways to clean interdentally and avoid thousands of dollars on an implant and crown?

  • I had used the Oral-B floss for about 15years, carry a roll in my pocket wherever I go, seriously. Their newer PFAS free type now sucks so I found Piksters Gorilla Floss, which costs a little more, but it's the answers to shredding and breaking problems. Crazy tough, zero shred- nothing even close in terms of material performance.

    • Yes gorilla floss is nice and thick. Seems to fill out those spaces between the teeth and disrupt the gunk nicely.

Switched to this after Colgate "enhanced" their old floss. RIP.

    • I think they're better now after the complaints

  • Only available to selected addresses ie not to us peasants in the bush

Make sure you come into town and get checkups every 6-12 months so you don't get a toothache out bush

        Certainly do!

  • These frays for me when I insert I'm between teeth but the Colgate ones don't

identify the specific spots which fray and tell your dentist at your next checkup

      • I identified the problem myself. This particular oral b ones fray because they are too wide like tapes and rips when you try to pull out but the colegate ones are thin like threads and easily comes out

  • Oral B just breaks in 2. Colgate used to be good, due to non-shredding and being tough, but since the recent produc "improvement" it started shredding. I find All Smiles/TC total care at Woolworths to be as good as Coles used to be, so I switched to that. 2 more things - it is recommended to mix thread floss with water floss. Also, there are some voices that argue that microplastics in floss are not monitored enough and there are some products that promote themselves as plastic free (mainly in the USA).
