Taro Tea Milk Powder - What Is Good Price to Pay (Sydney)

Getting the boba tea taro milk cravings wondering what a good price is to pay these days for a 1kg of taro milk powder specifically. Also, what are your recommendations for not only the best value but best tasting one. I guess also looking for fructose syrup price recommendations since it won't taste as good without it, the creamer I can live without.

Location: Sydney (Blue Mountains). Looking for pick up options and delivery options.

So where do you guys buy your taro milk boba tea powder supplies :) and what is a decent price to pay per kilogram these days

It’s expensive af but I kill 2 birds w one stone using far east alchemy taro milk tea protein - The big bonus was the lactase built into formula.

    • will have to look into this

i have not started doing protein drinks but this would be a nice way to start doing it or some hazelnut or vanilla flavour

taro milk powder is only $20/kg and this is 4x so it is a hard sell but again i will have to research protein powder prices but I know they can be quite expensive but health wise it would be a good step

      interesting thank you

    ended up going with https://www.hankstea.com.au/

there was some random promo code that made the bulk buy option a bit cheaper so i bit the bullet and went for it

ending up being a bit cheaper than https://sunwide.com.au/ after the random promo code (CANDYRACK-YQ0KW7P20J_8346830307648-2 for https://www.hankstea.com.au/collections/flavour-powder/produ…)

ah well whats done is done only time will tell if i got the right one or not because there seems to be a few variants of the taro flavour powder

    • love the fact that you came back and provided an update on what you found.

      Keep up the good work!

p.s. I might buy a bag - let us know how it tastes.

    • this looks good. I might give myself a try

      • username checks out

    • They are all chemicals, I know I might get lots of negative comments, but this is the truth: just a fake milk (tasted) powder with some Taro (taste) chemicals and lots of sugars(50g added sugar/100g).

Not suitable for frequent or prolonged consumption.

      • its true. Well you're not meant to drink this stuff everyday.

Thats why I think better to get it from the store - it would only be occasional consumption
