Good deal, fine deal, but speaking as someone who uses these type of screwdrivers a lot, I'd recommend spending a bit more to get a Bosch Go or a Vessel. Particularly the original version Go, they're the best (although they are getting expensive and hard to find, to be fair).

    • Any reasons? I think both have 5Nm of torque. The Bosch has push activation though. Feature set otherwise seems identical.

      • The push-to-activate functionality is a biggie for me, and also the reason that I just can't fall in love with the Vessel, much as I want to. Torque doesn't bother me so much, I need a fair bit of torque when I'm mounting gear in a rack so I do a final tighten by hand just by twisting the Bosch - using it a a normal screwdriver - if I need to.

The V2 of the Bosch has an additional push button to activate it, which is so crazy stupid sensitive that it's just infuriating to use, I leave it at home.

The Vessel is a lovely piece of kit, but no push-to-activate function and the forward / backward button I find awkwardly placed, it's fine around home but no more work trips for it I'm afraid.

Bosch heard you… check out the V3. Much better.

          • @eug: Ah, nice. Thanks for that.

    • why does bosch go worth the extra? i think it is also less powerful no light?

      • True, it does not have a light. See my comments above for my other thoughts. And I should add this is just my opinion / thoughts / experience - YMMV :)

    • Vessel has a high-speed model which I love. Long fine-pitch screws feels like it takes forever with a normal cordless driver. I don't need high torque as I just twist manually at the end.

I have a Bosch Go 1 and 3 as well, I don't really like the push activation feature. It's useful when unscrewing but I feel it gets in the way when trying to avoid crossthreading.

Got one of these and they are great for the price.

  • Looks pretty bulky for precision work to me..

    • It isn't meant for precision work.

      • Oh ok

    • can still undo phone screws has precision tips, but is a big body
the wowstick while more easily held didnt have enough torque and even when turning manually the clutch was pretty bad so it would slip.

      • Do you reckon there's a better quality one out there than the wow stick that wouldn't slip?

Mind you, I wouldn't wanna pay more than 60 bucks for one given the frequency I'd use it.

i think anything smaller wont have a proper clutch, too small a motor and bad battery life.

  • Will this be helpful in unscrew Macbook Air 2019 i5? I ordered a different set before Aliexpress and it's screwdrivers lost it threads because of the macbook's screws

probably a bit too large for fine electronics work.

If you really would like one (don't really see the benefit unless you're opening ~2-3x laptops per week).. look into the ES120 or ES121. Used to be around $120 around 4yrs ago

    • it will work fine, but might be overkill you will need the right screwhead not sure if macbook is using security screws. take a photo and i'll let you know
