It's currently an ATL I believe, not a bad game imo.

$64
Lol
Probably the longest a Ubisoft game has gone without a substantial price cut.. give it a couple of months this’ll be $39.
$64 is the new $39. Even Star Wars Outlaws which was a massive bust hasn’t gone below $40 yet.
Hlod
Gamepass soon (rumor)
Got lucky yesterday and bought a $68 preowned copy from EB games with a $50 voucher and it ended up having an unused pre order code for the free expansion, not bad for $18! Really fun game so far, I would say $64 is worth it.
Price matching BigW Toy Sale
It was created during the dei program.
Some people seem to have issues with the historical accuracy of the main character. They claim that ninja assassins were of a different gender.
Regardless, it’s a good games. Some people seem to have issues with the historical accuracy of the main character.
The main criticism has always been that throughout the entire AC franchise, they've NEVER had a playable protagonist that was directly based on a real historical figure.
The protagonist has always been a fictional character who's appearance in the setting is natural, e.g. Middle Eastern protag in AC1, Italian protag in AC2, Native American protag in AC3, etc.
Even the one that bucks the trend a bit in AC Black Flag, is because the game was a direct prequel to AC3, and it was completely normal for pirates to be white Europeans during the Golden Age of Piracy.
But of course the mainstream gaming media will focus on the trolls at the fringes (or their own sockpuppets - they have form for that kind of thing) to gaslight and attack the oh-so-racist AC fans that… Just wanted to play as a Japanese guy in Japan.
I was just saying that some people were unhappy with a female Japanese protagonist. It’s expected that the character would be Japanese, but criticism was directed at the gender choice.
Female playable protagonists have been in the AC series for a while (though, again, Ubisoft's own stats concede that 2/3rd of players prefer to chose male), so sounds like trolling to me.
I do recall a lot of mockery of having a female sumo wrestler, as yet another example of AC Shadow's myriad blatant insensitivity towards Japanese history and culture.
