Where's the deal? This has been the price on and off. Xgimi does sales like there is no tomorrow. For a projector that's been in the market for a couple of years, this should be sub 1k

Not even 4k? And this price?

Is much cheaper with same or better specs.

while this is not exactly a great deal the project is pretty good and is far more better in quality that the one you linked. Specs on paper doesn't always translate into performance.

Just had a quick look at the one you linked, it’s a lot less bright than the Horizon. It advertises itself as 900 ANSI lumens in the title then in the body it’s 600 (wut?). The Horizon has 2200 ANSI lumens and personally I wouldn’t go any lower.

Agree with others that the price really should be cheaper considering it came out back in 2001. I picked one up recently second hand for 850 + hard carry case and have been pretty happy using it to watch movies in bed. Pros: nice premium feel/build, built-in speakers are good enough that I don’t need to use an external one. Cons: colours are not great, you’ll need to calibrate it (I’m too lazy). Ticks all the boxes for what I need so overall good product but too expensive new. Having said that I couldn’t find anything comparable or significantly better for the price at the time of purchase.

      • Yeah sorry stuffed up with the brightness. My bad.

  • Which projector would be best for camping. Any suggestions?
