$80 off RRP for these. Have been on the fence on buying them, this may tip me over.
Been debating on these or the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds, but as I'm on PS5, I like the idea of easy integration.
Also looks like Amazon is price matching

Thanks, yes indeed they are
I don't know if Sony fixed the issues with these, but they had zero bass, have quite low volume, and frequently disconnects from the dongle (especially when used with the PSVR2). I found the Sony InZone buds to have better audio quality, louder and no disconnection issues on the PC or PS5.
but they had zero bass, have quite low volume, and frequently disconnects from the dongle
from what I hear in sound tests the Pulse Elite headset also seems to be light on bass. but that's just through microphone ear rig thingy so idk about actual user experience. disconnects from dongle also. but for the Pulse Elite at least seems like it can be solved with a OTG USB-C to A adapting cable. ymmv.
lower volume also was mentioned in feedback, but I have a headset that is the exact same, to reach the same volume for watching movies as my "Regular" BT headphones, the headset needs to be at like 80%~85% volume, while the BT headphones only needs 60%.
(I'm also hearing on Elite's if you have a PS5 and EQ the bass too high, there is a distorting sound when the bass hits. maybe they are using low end audeze planar inside idk but makes me hesistant. I'm willing to give it a go for $70 but not $199).
(especially when used with the PSVR2).
I realised that's why the Pulse Elite has such a funky (futuristic and cool imo) looking headband design. it's meant to go around the PSVR2 so you can use both together. also I also think that's why Pulse Elite is so plasticky and light weight, because any extra weight on top of VR is going to be noticed. downside is some users are having their Elite's headband cracking.
just saying because you didn't mention it but I think these are audeze planar as well like the Pulse Elite.
