Hi all I'm in the market for a new phone what the beat phone for around$300? Not fussed on brand but would something that's unlocked or can be used with Vodafone

I m using same model at the moment and serving well.
Nexus 4, 8GB will be excellent if you can fork out another $49….
suprised you know enough to recommend the nexus 4 but unaware there is no aus stock for last 2 months (can buy from 3rd partys that are charging $500 or so tho).
i just put in an order for the xperia sola and with qwibble cashback itll work out to be about $160. i know you said <$300 but its never a bad thing to spend less :)
The recently posted Motorola RAZR V deal posted seems to fit the bill and meet your criteria.

Although a BIG issue with the RAZR V is the paltry internal storage (only 2Gb for the user) and you have to root to move Apps to SD.
The Xperia Sola is good choice. It's $179 from target and vodafone online
