Struggling students with $450RRP earphones how will they ever afford a house idk

      • Stfu boomer lol. These earbuds cost less than 0.1 percent of a house. Excuse us, from wanting a little (profanity) luxury in our damn lives!

Millenial with $20k in my HECS still, actually

Both mine and the in-laws are tight with their cash, they've helped a tiny bit while splurging on overseas trips, campervans, mercedes, etc. I know a boomer when I see one.

I also know when a smashed avo and egg on toast breakfast is a dumb thing to eat when you're budgeting. My current breakfast is a creatine+protein shake that we've bulk bought and costs $1.

When I was completing my degree I was working full time to pay the bills while my wife did her PhD.

If you want to wear a little luxury then go ahead. Just don't complain in 10-20 years when you've bought 1000 pieces of little luxury and can't afford a house.

          thank u, next

      In what way?

I've had both of them, and I would say that the sound and noise cancelling are both far better on this version. I'd call noise cancelling the best I've heard in True Wireless, although I'm a little out of date, but I've owned XM4, XM5, these, a couple of other Bose QC, amongst others.

Connectivity is also miles ahead, although I still have intermittent problems with one or both not connecting, from time to time at least. For the first version it was a near-constant issue.

Add to this that the headphones were hard linked to the case - and the sheer size of the case, I find it hard to make an argument that the originals were superior.

The microphone remains poor on these as someone else said - my wife complains constantly about not being able to hear me when there is any sort of background noise.

    FYI the mic is shit

    • Agree. Good for music and noise cancellation, but if anyone is looking to buy these for regular calls, better look for something else.

    • Thanks, almost pull the trigger.
read the comments. google reviews and mic test videos.
      Absolutely rubbish on mic

please recommend earbud with better mic need for regular calls.
