Pickup in store if you can.
My online order is well over a month old, no shoes, "we will email you when it ships", no email, and no reply when asking for a refund.

The company is always super helpful IRL, but their online service is non existant.

    • That’s surprising to hear.

I’ve bought 6+ times online and never an issue.

      • Genuinely cannot even get a reply.

Gonna have to go to other resources soon to try and claw the money back… What a pain.

        • That sucks.
Would going into a store not help?

  • Which of these is best for daily training/light jogging with the goal of eventually doing daily 5k runs?

    • It depends on various factors like your gait, injury history, age, etc

You can go in and get assessed in Athlete's Foot.

Without knowing your personal situation the Brooks or New Balance are good all round runners. If I was pushed to try one, the Fuel Cells are a bargain - but ymmv

      • NB Rebel v4 at Hyper DC, mango colourway only 119.

        • Solid price. I got the Supercomp Elite V4 for $180 at the NB outlet a couple weeks back so they are my current runners (mostly 10kms), possibly my favourite ever running shoes.

Propel will be more than enough for eventually doing daily 5k. Hey it's under 100 bucks if you give up running then no big deal.

If you manage to stick with running, THEN you get a next tier up daily, like NB Rebel, Puma Velocity or Adidas Adizero SL2..or whichever brand you affiliate with.
