months later and there were still some $3 60W C to C cables that screw together and become a body lanyard.
I picked one up pretty impressed with the quality. the braiding is thick and actually a bit thicker than my aliexpress coiled keyboard cable.
it also feels quite soft and easy to bendy so would be good for comfort as a lanyard. I'm using it as a keyboard cable right now. 🙂the only thing disappointing was the phone anchor inside was all scratched up, by I forgive that because the cable uses actual metal (aluminum?) on the connectors and the screw together thing (it's what scratched up the plastic anchor and made it look used).
There would be some penny pincher apil folks who would drive from other cities and states for this deal! ;)
