Pre-Paid Sim Comparison in EOFY Sales

Hi dear members I hope everyone is well.

I need a suggestion from you all. My current Boost (12 month) prepaid plan is about to expire. When I tried to renew it, the amount is too high. They only give discounts for new customers.

Now I am planning to move to a different provider, because there are lots of EOFY sales going on.

These are the current sale prices:

Telstra 310 GB for $315 - 12 month expiry
Optus 300 GB for $275 - 12 month expiry
OnePass Mobile 360 GB for $199 - 12 month expiry
Vodafone 320 GB for $199 - 12 month expiry

Which one do you think are worth the money and have better reception. I live in Hobart, I don't think Vodafone is a better option. The reception is very poor if we go to outer suburbs from Hobart CBD.

Please give me some suggestions. TIA

Vodaphone, they now share towers with Optus in regional areas so coverage is much better. The OnePass plan is 4G only, while vodaphone is 5G. I get better signal in Melbourne CBD and on trains with vodaphone than my partner with Telstra.

    • Thank you. Ill have a look

My suggestion: Buy a new 12 month Boost starter pack (eg; $255 - $50 cashback = $205) and a $2 Telstra SIM (so, $207 all-up). When your current Boost 12 months expires, port to the $2 Telstra SIM, allow a bit of time for the systems to update, then port back to your new Boost 12 month SIM. Rinse and repeat each year.

More details can be found in the Deals and Forums sections.
