Seeing other heater thought I’d recheck this one as i missed it in the last sale and I’m hoping to increase my electricity bill as fast as possible.
I like this because it has fan boost so should warm room more quickly. RRP close to $100

It’s be same as a 2000w oil heater?
More costly but faster and lightweight
I mean… if you’re talking how oil heater retains heat longer after it’s turned off… I guess?
Depends on your use case scenario and design of the appliance. Take the heater in this offer for example, it might be as good as the expensive Dimplex one.
How? Heat is heat
Would this be cheaper to run or a split aircon that has heating function.
Split aircon is always more efficient than a generic heater since the phase change heat transfer is of higher efficiency (around 3 fold improved I think, for the same heating effect).
There are different pros and cons though - I'm not going to turn my reverse cycle heating on for just my office at home when I'm working, since that's a waste heating such a large area. I'll use a small heater like this to warm the single room of the house I'm spending the day in.
I'm guessing aircon because heat pumps are very efficient.
But aircons will have a fan while this heater doesn't and fans use electricity.
….but this does have a fan (if turning on the turbo).
Fans use very negligible electricity. Practically none.
This thing will cost many times more per hour to run.
Is this an oil heater?
I don't think so - appears to be one that has an element in the bottom that air rises past as it warms. I have a ceramic one I use in a small office and it does the job pretty well.
I think it's a router. Mine also acts like a heater.
Just a psa heat pumps generally have an efficiency between 3-5. 2000w of heating can use 400w of power @cop of 5.
Looks like a hard drive.
what are the cheapest heaters to keep a room warm overnight?
We've got a small 2000w Anko fan heater that we run some nights when it's extra chilly. Does a good job with warmth but are there any cheaper options with better/similar performance?
Electric blanket maybe better I have one uses about 150 watts?
A little bit of late night exercise is a cheap way to keep a small room warm overnight
wink wink, nudge nudge, know what I mean know what I mean
A bag of quick oats to make pasta or a package of pasta is low cost if you need to replenish carbohydrates if your internal heat generator has run out of fuel.
That and a decent Australian wool doona is possibly the cheapest way of keeping warm with current energy prices.
fan boost is meh
This to keep the bedroom warm at night or stay with gas central heating? Only need to heat 1 room at night and not worried about the rest of the house. Which one is more cost effective to warm just 1 room?

Running will be expensive than oil heater?
