Received it on my email that Nene Chicken will have $1 Wingettes & Drummettes on the National Fried Chicken Day (Sun, 6th July).
Can't find the T&C, so no idea what's the limit or if all their stores in [VIC, NSW, QLD, ACT] will participate (or not).
Probably they'd post it on their facebook closer to the day as I couldn't find it yet either.
$1 Wingette or Drumette: [VIC, NSW, ACT, QLD] 6, 10 or 18 Pieces, [WA, NT] 4, 8 or 12 Pieces @ Nene Chicken

There is no such thing as bloody national fried chicken day in Australia.
Definitely in fried chicken loving countries.
National Fried Chicken Day
Celebration
National Fried Chicken Day is observed in the United States of America annually on July 6. It is unclear how the day originated. In observance of the day, fried chicken is prepared in a variety of ways, and eaten.Of course its unclear, too much fried chicken you will shall not see, observe, monitor, glimce or optically see anything else. Nor shall you cook, prepare, barbeque, deep fry, smoke, or any other method of cooking unless its chicken.
You can copy+paste anything to support your belief. Here's a paste saying a few restaurants have taken it up:
"Several Australian restaurants and brands celebrate National Fried Chicken Day with special offers and promotions. For example, NeNe… Ume Burger has been known to offer ponzu-glazed Japanese fried chicken. Other places like Kuro Bar & Dining in Sydney and Seoulful Chicken in Brisbane are also popular spots for enjoying fried chicken. "
You'd be fun at parties.
You mean, like Love Day is also just a commercial excuse for people to open up their wallet? /s
Some of the best tasting chicken. Mala and snowing cheese is my favourite.
Con: sometimes the chicken is ultra small, almost cant believe its an actual chicken wingetteI do wonder sometimes if they keep prices low by buying up ex cage egg laying chickens or something because like you said, i've never seen wing pieces so small than the ones found at Nene. Still taste good, but prefer the chicken ribs, they are very meaty too.

What's the normal price of these?
more than $1ea
From memory, price is like $13 for 10 original, $15 for flavoured, so definitely get the flavoured for this one

Technically it's 10% more because they have 10% Sunday surcharge.
Maybe in some area? My local has no surcharge
Sold out by 2.45pm in Brisbane CBD, very disappointing NeNe
Sold out. I think they always cheats during promotion. Last time I ordered with cashback offer, they switched their EFTPOS machine to another business so that the cashback won't tracked.
Got mine after going into city(near me ended early) I got mine at 5:30pm. it was good to have a nice mix and taste of the flavours
I forgot about this deal today… -_-
I suggest sellers launch a limited-edition dish on the day called "Trump Always Chicken Out" — it will definitely be a big hit!
