noticed this on deep discount. I saw it ages ago available for preorder for $79 USD ($123 AU + tax) and $99 after released ($154 + tax).
it was very very pricey, but now fairly priced for what you get imo.

ok before anyone thinks it's all about the looks please read. although power bank hoarders looking for something shiny might still buy based on looks.

it's a 10k power bank that's rated for PD up to 40W (and VOC 55W for Oneplus/Xiaomi) + a ultra compact USB-C charger (that supports the same PD 40W and VOC 55W) that plugs into the wall for $75.
10k PD 30W powerbanks from reputable brands like Anker are regularly $29.99 on sale.
and PD 30W charger from Anker is $24.99 on sale.

so this Sharge Pouch not only looks very stylish, it's both 10k power bank and charger rated for PD40W, plus a compatible cable that doubles as a strap and it all neatly clips together into one unit. it also comes with all travel adapters for overseas use (admittedly the adapters a bit clunky but I assume it will come with some kind of bag to keep them in).

it's also available for $60.51 + $10 shipping ($70.51) direct from Sharge. but they say 12 to 15 day shipping so I think ozbers willing to pay extra $5 for Next day delivery with Prime.
if you are a first time sign up and willing to wait 2 weeks, you can get 5% off for total $67.48 Delivered.

  • I got my first GaN charger from Sharge 5 years ago (90W 1A2C) for about 200 CNY. Still using it daily without issues!

  • -1

hmm neat but exxy… if $40 i'll bite.
also should be around 27,000 and still save for flight
and then, it says okay to charge laptop with 40w? mine need 60w

    • 27000mAh will be quite heavy using 21700 battery inside.

the reason INIU mini/normal models can be so light/thin is they are using and stacking pouch cells (same type as in your phone) so more space efficient.

it says okay to charge laptop with 40w? mine need 60w

it will charge slow, and that is if you aren't using it. tbh in my experience if you try to charge with 40W while using laptop it will charge VERY slow. like you might sit and use for 1 hour while charging and it goes up maybe 3~5%. ymmv depending on laptop, I hear the newest Macbook air's are quite power efficient.

      • Oh so 40w is actually enough to keep it going forever? Wow i didnt know. Then 40w is good.

        • not sure what you mean by forever. you are talking about the Pouch's charger?
Pouch Powerbank is only 10k, so 37Wh. if you charge at 40W it will last less than an hour and Powerbank has 0% battery.

something efficient like Macbook air, 30W or 45W USB-C charger can do it (obviously 30w is slower).
most other normal smaller lightweight laptops I have seen require/come with 65W charger.
something like Surface laptop (by microsoft) has a 70W charger and custom microsoft connector. I found a USB-C to Surface connector adapter cable from Cygnett, so you can charge it USB-C but it supported only 45W max. lots of review saying charges too slow, and extremely slow when using the laptop at the same time.

as you can imagine, the experience of the Surface laptop slow charging will be experienced the same if you use 40W charger with 65W laptop.

also if you plan to use laptop while charging with power bank, i recommend getting power bank one spec above what you want. so if laptop charges at 45W get a 65W power bank, because when in use the power used can go up and down a lot, better for the power bank to be overspecced so the power bank will last and keep working long term.

          • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: Sorry i meant if i charge my laptoo with 40w charger (not powerbank) i still can use the laptop as long it stay plugged.

            • @McMaferMur: yeah charger part ok.

check the spec of the charger that came with your laptop. if the Sharge Pouch spec (I included all USB-C output spec in deal) is the same then it will work fine.

              Pouch Charger

              Port type: USB-C, Pogo Pin
              Input: 100-240V~50/60Hz 2.0A Max
              Output:
              USB-C: 5V⎓3A, 9V⎓3A, 12V⎓3A, 15V⎓2.67A, 20V=2A, 11V⎓5A(SUPERVOOC), 11V⎓3A(SUPERVOOC)
              Pogo Pin: 9V⎓2A

most laptops will be between 9V and 20V. Macbook air can charge as low as 9V and high as 20V too.

on your original laptop charger you want to see equal too or less than the bolded spec. e.g. if your original charger says 15V 2.67A or 15V 2A is fine.
              20V 1.5A or 20V 2A is fine.

ime even if your laptop charger says 45W (20V 2.25A) or 65W (20V 3.25A) while charging it does not always use the maximum power from charger, especially if you laptop is already 55%~65% charged. so 20V 2A of Pouch charger should negotiate PD and be fine. but in situations you don't prepare for, and need to charge laptop from 0%, it will charge slow and obviously the charger will get hot. I always recommend "over speccing" for these scenario (dead battery, needs to charge 100% quickly).

my ipad comes with 30W USB-C charger, and it only charges maximum of 25W (15V 1.6A) I measured. so I can buy a powerbank with 15V 1.6A spec it will be fine. I can buy a power bank with 15V 2A if I want some peace of mind.

  • So tempted, someone talk me out of it lol

I've been looking at this. It is only 40w compared to say, the Philips branded 65w, but it is much lighter at 304g vs 432g.

I also love the detachable design because it means you can attach just the light plug brick to finicky Asian power points that don't like heavy plugs, and then use a USB-C cable to charge the powerbank. Of course, if the power outlet is strong enough, you can use the magnets.

What definitely stops me is the FOMO of not getting 55w charging by not having an OPPO/OnePlus. It is enough to power my Surface Laptop 7 for basic tasks, but stick in my phone too and it will likely struggle to keep up.

      • It is only 40w compared to say,

tbh I think for travel use and charging only your phone and your iPad. a power bank with 30W is enough.

I have a 10.9 inch iPad it charges 15V 1.6A at max. so around 25W.

Pouch could have had bit more capacity though. 15000mAh would have been nice. but I guess part of the appeal is it's compact (and as you say light weight) even with the charger attached.

    • it could be cheaper. $60 from amazon would be great.

to charge in AU, you need to attach the AU plug attachment from the included overseas adapters. so unless you keep it attached and make it feel bulky, you will need to attach the adapter everytime you want to use the charger part of the product. <—- at least I think so. they have both AU and US option on amazon, I'm thinking the US option doesn't come with overseas adapters, but i could be wrong and AU model comes with collapsible AU plugs.

    • I’ll try the other way, if you use a cpap machine that can use a battery to power it and like travelling.

I believe you could use thi SHARGE battery with a cpap machine like a Z2 Auto, get the Breas Z1/Z2 Travel DC Power Cord or the Classic 15V CPAP DC Power Cord from EXP PRO Power.
With these cables it would provide the correct voltage and plug size.
And is your battery outputs USB-C PD areat 15V, the EXP PRO USB-C cable is ideal.
Otherwise, a 12V DC output with the classic cable works.

But you may also need a voltage trigger cable or adapter if the CPAP doesn’t power on automatically, but often these cables handle that internally.

      • I don't know how much CPAP uses but the Sharge pouch is only 10k so don't expect very long use out of it.

  • agree with most of the comments where if it is $60… i definitely would bite….

    • And it's one of those things that i don't "need" as i have multiple powerbanks and chargers already but would be nice to have something that's almost like an "all in one".

    • if it was a very successful product launch, it would still be $123 preorder price on sale.

my guess is people will dismiss it because of looks, or they focused on singling out the best spec for Oneplus branding and so not many buyers (Oneplus phone users didn't really get that excited about it, and non Oneplus/Xiaomi phone users aren't interested if they can't get the full 55W).

so imo yes price could come down a bit more because it's not that popular. would be nice to see $60 delivered from amazon fulfilled.

      • Having watched a YT review… one thing i did find is that it is slightly on the bulky side given it's just 10k mAh. Couldn't tell from pictures alone but from the video with the reviewer holding it in his hands, I get a much better sense of the size and for 10k mAh I'd hope it's a little thinner.

        • +2

it's bulky because it uses cylinder shape 21700 battery inside.

they at least rounded off the edges so less wasted space.

most thin or small powerbanks use pouch cell batteries inside. they are the ones that are in your phone. sometimes they will stack a few together but it's much more space efficient.
