  • Hey @Stephen pan
This is nice but what I'm looking for is a portable unit. Something with an ethernet port, 5GSA and 5GNSA and external antenna connectors. Is there such a device? I dont think the Nighthawk M6 even fits that.
    thanks

  • If portability is a key requirement, the M6 model would be an excellent choice as it includes a TS-9 connector for external antenna compatibility. This feature makes it particularly suitable for your needs while maintaining its compact design.

Let me know if you'd like more details about this model or have any other questions.

  • Are these open box like the ones you're selling here for $250 delivered?

    • Not. The open box is Telstra-branded, and the new AW1000 is Arcadyan-branded.

      • $229 delivered at mydeal… looks like the same hardware 🤔

      • So what you are offering is Arcadyan branded or Telstra branded? Your website said it’s Telstra.

Can also use it for the Netgear M6 when you are at the checkout

    (Unlock with OPWRT)

"Use the OpenWrt trademarks in their exact form, neither abbreviated or hyphenated, nor combined with any other word or words."

    Well, I don't think anyone's releasing images as OPWRT…

Anyway, there are quite a few images and choices for the AW1000:

    1. Stock OpenWrt https://openwrt.org/toh/arcadyan/astoria/aw1000 (I'm fairly sure the ATA/inbuilt voip does not work)
    2. GoldenOrb/ROOter https://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/router_openwrt
    3. This firmware image from a person with a Gawr Gura avatar image (RIP Chumbuds) https://github.com/xhikarishii/openwrt-ipq/releases

    So on and so forth.

    • The units can run OpenWrt, but installing it on these is not a beginner task: You need to open it up and attach a serial console to break into the factory firmware. However, they do run OpenWrt very well (just no ATA/VoIP - does it work on other images?)

      • Ah, didn't see the serial requirement buried in there.

Not a problem for myself but most here won't have the uart adapter or cables handy. (Although they're through-holes so… blu-tack as well or even soldering the header may be required.)

  • Does this unit take the old large standard sized SIM card (25mm x 15mm)?
